Resurfaced clip shows Travis Kelce sharing tips to become a ‘standout WAG’ years before dating Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An old video of Travis Kelce has resurfaced online that shows him sharing tips on how to become a “standout WAG”.

The clip is from September 2016, years before Taylor Swift came into his life.

Travis Kelce doesn't expect his partner to attend all his games

In the footage, Travis Kelce said, as per Parade.com, “If you're dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games."

"I mean, there’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game.”

But Kelce also mentioned that if his future girlfriend comes to see him playing, she should “cheer when we're doing awesome, just to make sure that look is being presented to everyone".

During the chat on ‘Whosay', the footballer also gave his opinion on what his future partner should wear during the game.

“It's all fun and games for me. But I'd rather have my girl look absolutely gorgeous in something that she's comfortable in,” he revealed.

Travis Kelce's advice on dealing with the limelight

Travis Kelce, however, had a warning too for his WAG.

He explained, “Being around the Chiefs Kingdom in Kansas City, it gets crazy and it gets hectic, and a lot of attention is on me and if she's on my side, it's gonna be on her, too.”

The 34-year-old also revealed what he wants after a game.

Kelce said, “There's so much focus on the actual game that when the game is over with, all you want to do is not talk about the game, not even think about football."

After a long hard day on the field, Kelce said he prefers to be “a person on the street enjoying a dinner with family or just a drink with friends".

Travis Kelce, the football tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Taylor Swift have been together since last year, and the pop sensation has attended most of his games.

But Swift's noticeable absence from the Chiefs’ last two games has sparked a lot of speculations among fans. Swift missed the Chiefs' game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 29.

Though Kelce's team won the game, he has lately faced criticism for his poor performance.

But he shared on his 'New Heights' podcast, as per Page Six, “I’ve had a lot of catches in this league, man. I’m not worried about the catches and the yards and all of that. I have the most fun when I get the ball thrown my way. I mean, who doesn’t?”

“It has everything to do with execution and just making sure we’re doing everything we can to win these football games. That’s always going to be the goal,” Kelce added.
