ATLANTA, GEORGIA: The estate of late Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has honored his legacy with the release of his first posthumous album 'Forever Goin In' on what would have been his 35th birthday.
The album, which dropped on October 4, comes a month after Quan’s death on September 5 at 34.
Rich Homie Quan died of an overdose
Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was reportedly working on his album before his untimely death.
His family took on the responsibility of completing his vision, ensuring his work would be shared with the world.
The rapper's cause of death was confirmed as an accidental drug overdose by the Fulton County Medical Examiner on October 1, according to People.
According to the report, multiple substances were found in his system, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine, and THC. His sudden death has left fans and the music world mourning his loss.
'Forever Goin In' features 35 tracks, including collaborations
The posthumous album 'Forever Goin In' consists of 35 tracks, featuring collaborations with artists such as Skilla Baby, Lil Tjay, 2 Chainz, Plies, Sukihana, and more.
The album cover showcases a childhood photo of Quan, possibly from his elementary school days, where he’s seen wearing a crown. The artwork includes the message: "I promise I will neva stop going in… Forever Going In."

Ahead of the release, the estate shared on Instagram, “Dropping at MIDNIGHT! 34 listed songs ironically that’s the age I…bonus 1 extra, because tomorrow will forever be a celebration! My GIF to my Fans."
