Rosie O'Donnell reveals daughter Chelsea was bailed out by her birth mother before latest arrest
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rosie O'Donnell broke her silence on her daughter Chelsea O'Donnell's recent arrest in an Instagram post on Tuesday, December 3.
The 27-year-old was arrested thrice over the last few months, as per People. She was last taken into custody in Wisconsin's Marinette County on November 18 on two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, a felony count of possession of narcotic drugs, and two felony counts of bail jumping.
Chelsea also faces four misdemeanor charges for resisting or obstructing a police officer, possession of an illegally obtained prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In the Instagram post, the 62-year-old comedian shared a screengrab of an email from a Fox News reporter seeking her comment on the arrest of her daughter, Chelsea, whom she adopted with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, in 1997.
"Just wanted to check in and see if Rosie O'Donnell had any additional comment now that Chelsea O'Donnell has been arrested again. Have they talked recently since Chelsea's arrests?" the message read. "Can you share any information about the status of their relationship?"
"So yes this is true — after being bailed out by her birth mother — Chelsea was arrested again — and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction," Rosie shared in the caption of her post.

"We all hope she is able to get the help she needs to turn her life around — #drug-addiction #tragic #sadness #truth," she concluded.
Prior to November 18, Chelsea, a mother of four, was arrested on September 10 and October 11 on charges related to drug possession and felony child neglect.
During a hearing for her September 10 arrest on November 26, Chelsea pleaded not guilty to charges. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2025.
A preliminary hearing and arraignment for her November 18 arrest has been scheduled for December 11.
Apart from Chelsea, Rosie adopted Parker, 29, and Vivienne, 21, with Carpenter. She went on to adopt Dakota, 11, with her second wife, Michelle Rounds.
