LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Harry's reputation among Britishers took a hit, especially after he stepped down from his royal duties in 2020 and criticized his own family in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, a Netflix docuseries in 2022, and his tell-all memoir 'Spare' in 2023.

Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine and author of royal biographies including the recent 'My Mother & I', recently revealed that Prince Harry's popularity has also plummeted among Americans, according to Daily Mail.

People in the US don't seem to care about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The royal expert informed The Standard in an interview, "I give a lot of talks to Americans and they all dislike Harry and Meghan. They hate that they let the Queen down.

Moreover, other sources suggested that people simply don't have any interest in the Sussexes.

Kinsey Schofield, a Los Angeles-based royal expert and host of the 'To Di For Daily' podcast, told the outlet that she thinks many people in the US would agree with Eric Trump, President-elect Donald Trump's son, when he claims they don't care about the prince.

She mentioned that people have lost interest in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after realizing that they had given them too much credit over the years.

However, it now appears the couple has adopted a new PR strategy as they attempt to revive their reputation, per the outlet.

The couple has increasingly been appearing at events separately, sometimes in different countries which has led to speculation that they have "professionally separated" due to their differing interests.

When asked about the rumors, Harry laughed them off the rumor saying, "Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?", as per Daily Mail.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prioritize romance amid separation rumors

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are doubling down on their commitment to one another and working actively to strengthen their bond despite persistent rumors of their marriage being in trouble.

An insider revealed, as per Radar Online, "It feels very much a case of 'he who doth protest too much. Everyone has noticed they're rarely together anymore."

The couple is reportedly taking steps to reignite their romance, as another source shared, "They're very clear they are not divorcing and just as committed as ever, but that doesn't mean there aren't some areas they want to, and need to, work on. One thing that has really fallen by the wayside is the romance, and they've vowed to tackle that proactively."

One more tipster stated, "They're really going to carve out the time. They need to, otherwise their schedules get so jammed. They've also vowed to stay patient when it comes to the palace, which can get them worked up. They're not going to sweat that stuff anymore."

Even though Prince Harry maintains a contentious relationship with the royal family, Meghan is said to be taking the couple away from such discussions, and opting instead for a more therapeutic approach to navigating stress.

"Of course, she'll move heaven and earth to avoid divorce. A custody case would be way too messy to comprehend, and thanks to Harry's family he has endless means. Meghan will be making it very clear that no matter how stressful life in the US gets, divorce is not an option," further mentioned the source.
