RuPaul claims in his memoir that Madonna treated him like a 'worthless eunuch' when they first met

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Madonna reportedly “snarled” at RuPaul when the Queen of Pop met the Drag Queen for the first time.

The 63-year-old reality competition host is opening up about his life and his road to stardom in his new memoir titled ‘The House Of Hidden Meanings’ scheduled to release on March 5.

RuPaul opens up about his interaction with Madonna

In an excerpt published by The Sun, the ‘Crooklyn’ star has shared an insight about his unpleasant first meeting with Madonna as the ‘Material Girl’ singer “snarled” at him and treated him as a “worthless eunuch.”

In his upcoming memoir, the Emmy winner for 'RuPaul's Drag Race' candidly shares his troubling equation with his parents and dedicates a considerable portion to chronicling his substance abuse.

‘The Queens’ star further shared his experiences with Madonna after meeting the ‘Frozen’ singer for the first time at Pyramid Club in New York City in the 1980s.

RuPaul claimed in his memoir that he first heard of Madonna when she was working the coat check at the club Danceteria, per Daily Mail.

In 1984, he heard the pop star speak about her rise to stardom in a seminar that was attended by RuPaul as well.

He, however, did not meet Madonna until a few more years. It is this meeting that RuPaul has shared in his memoir.

The ‘Nimona’ star wrote in his memoir that he finally met Madonna when he was working as a dancer at Pyramid Club. 

However, RuPaul admitted that he will “never forget” the expression that Madonna cast toward him during their first meeting.

He shared that the ‘Vogue’ singer “snarled” at him as he entered the room while noting that it was “an expression I’ll never forget."

However, he also noted that Madonna reminded him of his mother who was also a Leo and “cold to a fault.”

RuPaul further described the meeting and shared that he saw a “snarl of contempt at the sight of me, cold fury that I would deign to enter while she was in the room.”

He noted that at that moment he felt he could read the Grammy-winning pop star thinking, “How dare you take up oxygen in my world?”

He shared that during that time Madonna viewed everyone as a “transaction” and added she wondered if the person she was meeting could “add anything to that equation.” 

RuPaul continued, “In clocking me as a eunuch, I became worthless to her.” Nevertheless, he never let the ‘Hung Up’ singer get to him as she reminded him of his mother.

RuPaul reveals about his childhood

The memoir also has RuPaul revealing about his childhood. Shedding light on his relationship with his parents, ‘The Brady Bunch Movie’ star said that he never truly felt “loved” by his parents as both of them were “narcissistic” people whose “needs superseded whatever mine were.”

He also shared that when his mother was pregnant with him, a psychic told her that he would be famous.
