Russell Simmons' daughter Aoki Lee urges to treat Diddy's children with 'respect' after rapper's arrest
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, faces serious allegations, Aoki Lee Simmons, the daughter of Russell Simmons, has stepped up to defend the disgraced rapper's children.
The 22-year-old social media influencer took to Instagram Live to urge the public to treat Diddy's seven children with the "love and respect" they deserve.

"I think his daughters and children are such wonderful people, and I really hope you guys treat them with love and respect because they're nice kids," Aoki Lee Simmons stated while highlighting the innocence of the children caught in the storm of their father's legal troubles.
"It's not their fault that anything — adults, that's adult business, and they're not adults," she added, reported Page Six.
Aoki's plea comes as Diddy, 54, awaits trial following his arrest on September 16, charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The music mogul has a total of seven children -- Justin Combs, 30; Christian Combs, 26; Chance Combs, 18; and the twin daughters Jessie and D'Lila Combs, both 16, as well as two-year-old Love Combs. He also adopted Quincy Brown, 33, the son of the late Kim Porter, who was a close friend of Aoki's mother, Kimora Lee Simmons.

Months earlier, Kimora Lee Simmons vowed to "fiercely" protect her late friend's daughters following the emergence of troubling allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, including a video of him being violent with ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.
As she shared a heartfelt tribute to Diddy's daughters, she reminisced about the bond her family shared with Porter. "I will love you always and will protect you fiercely to the end with all I have!" she wrote to Jessie and D'Lila, celebrating their prom night. "Congrats my loves! You made it!"
The fallout from the ongoing scandal is not unfamiliar to Aoki, whose own father, Russell Simmons, has faced accusations of sexual misconduct. Like Diddy, he has denied these allegations.
Diddy's children rally behind their father amid legal turmoil
As the children navigate their father's legal issues, they have not publicly commented on the allegations against him. In a show of support, Diddy's children have been visiting their father in jail.
While his sons are present for court proceedings in New York, Jessie and D'Lila are under Kimora's care in Los Angeles, reportedly house-hunting to create their own space away from their father's residence.
Diddy's trial date is set for May 5, 2025, coincidentally the same day as the Met Gala. Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars and a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty.
