LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Reynolds and Conan O’Brien took a lighthearted jab at Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand As Ever during a podcast appearance.

The two joked about jam and yogurt products while referencing Markle’s latest venture.

The comments came during Reynolds’ guest spot on O’Brien’s podcast ‘Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend’ that aired on Monday, May 12.

While talking about his father Jimmy, Ryan Reynolds jokingly recalled his career after the military.

“He got out of coping and then became a food broker, which we're like, come on, that's CIA, right? And he's like, 'No, I really am a middleman for jars of jam and tiny yogurts,’” Reynolds said during the podcast.

Reynolds joined in with more humor, adding, “If Jimbo Reynolds wasn't dead I'd say he is Meghan Markle. Well adjacent.” To which O’Brien responded, “Many people have likened the two,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand features herbal teas and jam products

Meghan Markle launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year in collaboration with Netflix’s Consumer Products Group.

The brand originally debuted as American Riviera Orchard before being renamed 'As Ever.'

The brand’s first collection dropped on April 2, featuring nine products, including herbal teas, cookie mixes, and Meghan’s well-known jam. The products sold out in less than an hour after going live.

Meghan took to Instagram after the release, writing, “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough…for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. It’s just the start.”

Meghan Markle says being a founder is ‘a constant state of recalibration’

On her podcast, ‘Confessions of a Female Founder', Meghan Markle shared insight into her experience running the brand.

“It is just a constant state of recalibration,” she said, according to Vanity Fair.

“There’s joy in that, but you are always in motion, and if you’re a founder yourself, you know exactly what I mean because we’re moving at warp speed, problem solving, filling gaps in real time, scratching a million, tiny, tiny things off of your to-do list - but not in that fun way, like a lotto ticket,” Markle added.

“It can get messy, and the best founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty,” she added during the interview with Heather Hasson.

“I don’t mean play dirty. I mean when it’s clean-up-on-aisle-five time, you are the first person there with a mop," she said.
