During an interview with E! News, the ‘Free Guy’ actor’s co-star Hugh Jackman joked the billionaire songstress is the family nanny of Reynolds’ four children, per Marca.

Reynolds, however, did not let the ‘Logan’ actor’s quip pass, as he clapped back hilariously, "I believe the accountant said 'cost-prohibitive' but I think what he meant was 'cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I'm-no-longer-you're-accountant'."

Ryan Reynolds addresses Taylor Swift’s ‘Deadpool’ cameo rumor

Owing to Ryan Reynolds and his wife’s close friendship with the 'Lover' singer, several fans speculated there might be a cameo by Taylor Swift in the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ movie releasing on July 26.

The rumor was fueled when the trailer of the film dropped with the appearance of Lady Deadpool, who, quite conveniently sported a golden blonde hair, similar to the blonde songstress.

However, Reynolds recently took the job of dispelling the rumor himself, as he addressed the probable cameo in a recent interview, per Marca

The actor, though welcomed the thought of it, said, "I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor because she's our friend - that is not in this film.”

He continued, "I always do say that if anyone ever were to take over the role of Deadpool, actually Taylor would be very good.”

"Because that's a superpower that I don't know that she shows everyone too often: She's one of the funniest people I've ever met,” added Reynolds, who is known for his quirky humor.

Ryan Reynolds jokes about Taylor Swift’s cats

The ‘Lavender Haze’ singer has become one of the constant fixtures during the promotional interviews of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’.

When Ryan Reynolds appeared on SiriusXM's Town Hall, he opened up about Taylor Swift’s cats being shown in ‘Deadpool 2’ and joked about him getting subsequently sued by Swift's lawyers.

Reynolds quipped, “Yes, I had a T-shirt made. Yes, of [Swift’s cats] Meredith and Olivia on Wade’s shirt. Yeah, you know, just little details, that’s all.”

Jess Cagle asked Reynolds, “Now, when you put her cats on a T-shirt, did you have to call her and get permission?"

The ‘Deadpool’ star responded equally engagingly, as he joked, "No, I was sued. I lost everything in that one."

"And getting sued by a friend is tough to swallow. Also, she has just a lot of very, very powerful lawyers. I found out later those are just the paralegals. The real lawyers didn’t even bother with it,” added the star.

“But ... I would never do such a thing,” was his response about wearing the shirt without asking the songstress.
