Ryan Reynolds says daughter Betty 'unconditionally' loves his 'Deadpool & Wolverine' co-star Hugh Jackman
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ryan Reynolds' daughter Betty has huge admiration for Hugh Jackman.
The ‘Green Lantern’ star, during the world premiere of their latest movie ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ was asked about what it was like to bring his entire family - wife Blake Lively and four children - at the David H Koch Theater in New York City.
"I don't profess that my kids are perfectly behaved. My four-year-old Betty sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally," he shared as his co-star Jackman simply chuckled at the answer.
Reynolds continued, "And she expresses that love through unblinking violence. So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might," he said.
What to expect from 'Deadpool & Wolverine' movie?
'Deadpool & Wolverine' team up to “defeat a common enemy,” as per its official synopsis. Other stars who feature in the film include Brianna Hildebrand returning as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Kutsuna as the Japanese mutant ninja Yukio.
It also features Emma Corrin and Jennifer Garner who reprises her role as Elektra from the 2003 ‘Daredevil’ movie.
'Deadpool & Wolverine' is directed by Shawn Levy who has previously worked with Reynolds in ‘Free Guy' and ‘The Adam Project.’

Levy, while praising the '6 Underground' star, told People, "Hugh said, ‘For what it’s worth, if you ever meet and work with Ryan Reynolds, you’re never going to stop.’”
“That was 2010,” Levy said, adding “Hugh Jackman, the prophet — a little-known special talent.”
Talking about his special bond with Jackman, Reynolds told the outlet in June, “We rely on each other for the real kind of advice that you want. There’s probably fewer friends in our life that you can say anything to, the stuff you’re ashamed, embarrassed, anything.”
Meanwhile, Lively posted a rare photo on Instagram featuring a sweet moment with Reynolds. The photo posted on July 22 fueled speculation that she might be playing Lady Deadpool.
The image captured the 'Gossip Girl' alum sharing a kiss with Reynolds while he was in his costume on the set of his upcoming 'Deadpool & Wolverine' movie.
