SAG Awards 2025 worst dressed: From Jamie Lee Curtis' weird feathers to Cynthia Erivo's silver look
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards included a number of fashion faux pas and sartorial nightmares - ranging from extravagant ruffles and weird feathers to clashing patterns and oddly shaped gowns.
Not every costume topped the fans' favorite list, with celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis wearing feathery outfits and Danielle Deadwyler sporting a cupcake-like appearance, per Daily Mail.

1. Cynthia Erivo
The 'Wicked' actress was leading the 2025 SAG Awards worst-dressed list as she showed up wearing a vintage silver and gold turtleneck dress with an overabundance of feathers around her neck.
Erivo walked the red carpet in Los Angeles wearing a classic Givenchy gown created by Alexander McQueen and styled by Jason Bolden, per WWD.
She appeared to be an unwinding platinum-plated basket due to the outfit, and the neckline certainly resembled a lengthy tinsel wizard beard. The 'Wicked' actress buried herself in her silver attire with extra-long matching sleeves.
2. Jamie Lee Curtis
The 'Freaky Friday' star's black sequin Dolce & Gabbana glittery dress, which included enormous feathers on the sleeves and chest, put her among the worst-dressed celebs at the awards red carpet. Curtis described the appearance as "giving showgirl" in the Netflix pre-show.
Fans can speculate that Curtis would have shone like the star she is in her glittering black evening gown if it hadn't had the fluffy sleeves. However, she appeared to be ready to lift off and flap her wings as it stood.
3. Danielle Deadwyler
From the Film Independent Spirit Awards to the NAACP Image Awards, Danielle Deadwyler had an incredible weekend of style, which she ended at the 2025 SAG Awards, where she received a nomination for Best Actress for her role in 'The Piano Lesson'.
Deadwyler took an artistic twist to the red dress trend on Sunday with a sculptural couture Louis Vuitton gown and matching red pointed-toe heels. However, fans believe it would have been more appropriate to hang this dress on the porch rather than wear it on the red carpet.
4. Timothee Chalamet
Timothee Chalamet's "Brat Summer" doesn't appear have entirely gone. The actor wore a "Brat"-green shirt on the SAG Awards 2025 red carpet, styled by Taylor McNeill, per WWD.
He finished off his look with a diamond-encrusted Cartier bolo tie, which gave it a Western feel, and a full leather black suit by Chrome Hearts, which paid tribute to Bob Dylan's distinctive look.
However, the mustache certainly didn't go with the appearance but it was not the worst aspect of this style. Chalamet typically possesses a talent for red carpet dress but the bolo tie, lime green shirt, and leather suit was a very odd combination.
5. Joey King
Actress Joey King arrived at the Shrine Auditorium wearing an odd black gown that was completely out of style. It featured diamond chains hanging from it, a turtleneck, and sheer cutouts on her midriff and chest.
King's black gown included translucent panels on the bodice, a blue collar, and crystal accents. Her outfit was completed with jewels adorned with diamonds by Bucherer and Tourneau.
This Miu Miu dress appeared more like a collared bikini and swimming suit cover-up than an evening gown. The juxtaposition failed to work, and King appeared confusing as she walked the carpet, ruining what could have been a distinctive and intriguing outfit.
6. Pearl Mackie
British actress Pearl Mackie left very little room for interpretation in her strapless black gown, which included an uncomfortable amount of fabric around her waist.
7. Sasheer Zamata
The comedian and actress wore an oddly patterned gown by Temperley London that was a bit too erratic when she arrived at the event. Zamata, who co-hosted the SAG Awards pre-show with Lilly Singh, chose a dress that combined the trends of flimsy and metallic.
The 'Agatha Along' actress donned the Atlas dress, which has an open back and a sequin design on sheer fabric. Despite Zamata accessorizing her look with diamond pieces, the complete ensemble failed to make a mark at the star-studded event.
8. Eleanor Matsuura
The 'Day of the Jackal' actress Eleanor Matsuura wore a form-fitting, translucent lime green dress that exposed her underwear. She wore bright green heels to go with the unattractive ensemble.
9. Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel showed up wearing an ordinary black gown by Giorgio Armani, paired with a white button-down shirt and a bowtie that was a bit too subdued for the lavish occasion.
10. Jeremy Strong
Jeremy Strong, who lost to Kieran Culkin in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role category, attended the SAG Awards on Sunday night wearing yet another olive green suit.
According to one reviewer, the 'Apprentice' star resembled "a decent avocado at Whole Foods," per OK! Magazine.
