LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has stirred up significant controversy with her confident prediction about the 2024 presidential election, as reported by Fox News.

During an appearance on Fox News' 'America’s Newsroom' on Thursday, June 20, Sanders asserted that former President Donald Trump will decisively defeat President Joe Biden in November, despite recent polling suggesting a tight race.

Sanders downplayed the significance of national polls, which currently show Biden with a slight edge over Trump. A recent Fox News poll indicated Biden has gained five points since March, leading Trump by two points, which is within the margin of error. However, Sanders remained unfazed.

"I don't actually put a lot of stock into national polls," Sanders stated. She rather emphasized the importance of key issues that drive voters' decisions.

"I think the place that really matters is the issues that are driving voters, and they'll ultimately pick their candidate of choice. And when you look at both battleground polls and issues that drive voters – the economy, the border, national security – Trump is dominating in all of those. I still think this is his race," Sanders explained.

Polling data shows a gender and education divide, with men tending to support Trump, while White women with college degrees largely favor Biden. "I fully expect that he's going to win and win big in November," she added confidently, positioning Trump as the clear frontrunner since he announced his candidacy.

In the interview, co-anchor Bill Hemmer noted that both parties could make compelling cases for their candidates, considering the narrow margins in previous elections.

"I think it's probably the first decent poll that Joe Biden has gotten in some time, and maybe it holds, and maybe it doesn’t," Hemmer remarked.

Sanders dismissed the notion that Biden’s current lead holds significant weight. She pointed to Trump’s record on crucial election issues as a solid foundation for his expected victory.

"Democrats can certainly make an argument. It's just not a very good one," she expressed.

"The big difference in this race that you have that is very different than anything we've seen in the past is that you have two people who have already served. … It's not just what they're talking about. They both have a record of service as president. One has a record of success," Sanders added.

She went on to highlight Trump’s achievements in economic growth, border security, and national security.

"Those are big, big contrasts. Because both of these people have been president, it's a very different election in that sense. And the reason that people show up, and they cast their ballot, those are all places that Donald Trump is absolutely crushing Joe Biden. And I think that's why he'll crush him in November," Sanders concluded. [sic]
