ROME, GEORGIA: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) went ballistic on Thursday, June 20, after a Fox News poll showing President Joe Biden leading former President Donald Trump among rural voters.

According to the poll released on Wednesday, President Joe Biden was ahead of the embattled ex-president by 2 points, indicating a 5-point swing since March.

Additionally, the poll results showed the 81-year-old Democratic statesman holding a 2-point lead among rural voters, according to The New Republic.

What did MTG say in response to the unfavorable polling results against Trump?

The Georgia Republican mistakenly equated the poll's amiability with its accuracy and found herself in complete agreement with the far-right activist Charlie Kirk, who also disagreed with the poll’s conclusions.

“Okay, I’ve been studying this new FOX NEWS poll, and I have concluded it’s a complete outlier,” Kirk wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “They have Joe Biden winning rural voters 50-48% over Trump. There is no way that’s possible. Zero.”

Charlie Kirk has recently announced a partnership between his conservative youth organization, Turning Point USA, and the Trump 2024 presidential campaign.

Additionally, Kirk extended an invitation to the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee to speak at the organization's convention in Milwaukee last weekend.

Notably, Kirk did not substantiate this assertion with evidence. However, the MAGA-aligned congresswoman, who has a history of endorsing bizarre right-wing conspiracy theories, wholeheartedly backed Kirk's statement.

“100% correct!! This Fox News poll is WRONG!” the 50-year-old remarked. “My district is in rural northwest Georgia and it is SOLIDLY supporting Trump! Same with most of rural America! Smart people!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene's unfounded outburst happened shortly after former President Donald Trump threw a fit about his poor polling on his proprietary social networking platform, Truth Social.

The 78-year-old MAGA strongman lambasted Fox News, even though the network typically supports him, claiming, “FoxNews Polls are always the worst for me. They have been from the beginning, and always will be!”

Getting worked up over a single poll isn't exactly the ex-POTUS’s typical behavior, but it highlights the level of loyalty Donald Trump expects from conservative news outlets.

Internet chastises MTG for refuting new Fox poll showing Biden leading Trump among rural voters

One X user remarked, "Trump is gonna lose. Bigly."

Another user argued, "Your one district doesn't equate to an entire country. Tell us you don't know how polls work without telling us. Charlie isn't a pollster and will say whatever he can to make it look better. You both are hilarious."

Another user claimed, "There's that desperation. Turns out the rest of America isn't like rural northwest Georgia. More and more polls show Biden leading nationally. More and more polls show Biden tied or taking the lead in battleground states. Trump's polling has been on a downslide for a good six months now. When Trump became a convicted felon, his support dropped even more. Even Fox News is showing Biden ahead. Trump is toast. MAGA is done."

One X user quipped, "You are correct. It looks like Trump has the fascist-leaning white nationalist vote in the bag, but I don’t think they make up a large enough demographic for a win."

Another user said, "LMFAO how do you even look at yourself in the mirror & not breakdown from humiliation. During the primary, Fox News polls were fine. Showed the lead for Trump and it was great, truly reflected the party’s will. During the general election, Fox News poll is WRONG. It shows results for the general election which includes all 50 states but my rural district in Georgia supports Trump so that minimal population should translate to the whole country, if it doesn’t everyone & everything is wrong." [sic]

Finally, this user tweeted, "Maybe just maybe you’re wrong…."
