Scott Disick slammed for tipping $2 on $50 Starbucks order and not feeling bad despite $45M fortune

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Scott Disick is facing backlash after leaving a $2 tip on a $50 Starbucks order during the February 20 episode of 'The Kardashians'. In the latest Hulu installment, when his business partner Benny Luciano learned that Disick gave a $2 tip for the Starbucks order, he quickly called out the reality star for the seemingly low amount.
Despite his estimated net worth of $45 million, Disick defended his actions with a controversial take on tipping culture. The interaction ignited a wave of mixed reactions online, with many fans criticizing the reality star's not-so-generous gesture.
Scott Disick made divisive comment on tipping culture
Scott Disick, 41, appeared on this week’s episode of 'The Kardashians', where he was hunting for a new personal assistant.
His ex Khloe Kardashian stepped in to assist with the interview process and visited his Calabasas Luxury Motorcars business following reports that Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West had caused tension in the family with his antisemitic remarks.
Before heading to the business, Disick was placing a Starbucks delivery order when his business partner Benny Luciano called him out for leaving a meager tip. “Did you just give him two dollars?” Luciano asked.

Disick, seemingly surprised, responded, “Yeah, you don’t tip?” Luciano shot back, “Yeah... but not two dollars.”
When asked how much Luciano would tip, he said, “You’ve gotta give 20%,” which struck a nerve with Disick. “I’m not tipping 20% on a $50 Starbucks order for them to come down here,” he argued.
Luciano, however, had a different perspective. “They’re gonna be like, ‘Look at this motherf***er, he just gave me two dollars,’” he said, mimicking someone spitting in the coffee.
This comment reminded Disick of a viral video featuring Hailey Welch, with him admitting, “She’s not wrong," according to DailyMail.
Later, Luciano also teased Disick for Googling personal assistant questions, a move Khloe Kardashian thought might be necessary. In her confessional, the reality star remarked that Disick might actually need “an adult nanny” as the trio interviewed three potential candidates—Kelsey, Mollie, and Juan.
During the interview, Luciano asked the candidates how much they would tip on a $30 Starbucks order. Mollie responded, “I would probably do 10, honestly,” which left Disick visibly shocked. “10 dollars?” he exclaimed. “No, no, no, 10%,” Mollie clarified, which would be a $3 tip—one dollar more than Disick's $2 tip.
Kelsey was also asked about her tip on a $30 order, and she suggested $5, which would be a 16% tip. Luciano pointed at Disick and said, “That’s what I’m telling you!” However, Disick dismissed it by saying, “That's horse manure.”
Scott Disick’s $2 tip on a $50 Starbucks order sparks debate online

As news of Scott Disick's tipping habits on 'The Kardashians' spread online, many social media users called him out and criticized him for the low tip.
One person wrote, "Of course Scott is a horrible tipper. Makes sense but makes me like him less. He can afford more than $2. Him being funny and always hitting on Khloe only goes so far. #Kardashians."

Another explained, "Tipping 20% on delivery is not it. Long distance or traffic means a higher tip. What if you get a $15 order, but the driver spent 1 hour getting to you or a $300 order and it was 10 minutes away. But $5 minimum."
According to Buzzfeed, one person disagreed and wrote, "I disagree with tipping a delivery driver 20%. I think a flat fee based on distance from store is most fair, and no less than $5-7."
Another shared, "I can't believe Scott tipped only$2.00. They delivered it yo his house used there own gas. You are cheap...I don't have money he has but I would never do that. I will never look at him the same. It's too bad."
One individual commented, "I always tip $10 on a delivery, if its a $10 starbucks order or a $200 meal. $10 is sufficient for this i think. in restaurants 20% is what seems to be expected, but i refuse to pay 20% on wine, if i'm ordering a cheap bottle of wine or fancy one, the work on the wait staff is the same!!"
Another added, "You tip 20% + for like.... waitstaff. Scott definitely could have thrown the guy like $5 instead of $2 though."
