Diddy slams Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson for promoting Proactiv in old clip despite 'not using it'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Sean 'Diddy' Combs' old video and pictures have turned into a subject of scrutiny following his arrest last month over trafficking and racketeering charges.

The latest unearthed clip featured the disgraced rap mogul blasting Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson over their advertisement for the skincare brand Proactiv, as per TMZ.

In a video from the early 2000s, Diddy ranted in a slurred voice how the actresses' don't deserve credit for their skincare endorsements, claiming he was using the brand for nearly a decade before they made it into Proactiv advertisements.

"You know damn well that Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson were not using no Proactiv ... now y'all into skin care products. Now, now, y'all think its official," Sean 'Diddy' Combs said in the resurfaced clip, according to The Mirror US.

In a slurring speech, the rapper went on to reveal the "secret" to his skin, claiming it was because he used Proactiv for seven years. He said the actresses were late to endorse the brand.

"That's why I got silky smooth cocoa butter skin. So, Lindsay and Jessica, you're late. You should have followed my pretty a** from the beginning, but now ya late," Diddy said.

The clip signaled the influence Diddy had in the entertainment industry before the ultimate disgraceful fall of his career.

Proactiv, an acne-oriented skincare brand, was advertised by celebrities including Justin Bieber, Adam Levine, and Katy Perry. In 2021, it expanded its business to focus on skin issues beyond acne, rebranding it to  Alchemee.

Meanwhile, the 54-year-old rap mogul was arrested on September 16 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City and is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting trial.

He was denied bail despite a $50 million bond after the prosecutors deemed him a flight risk.

Netizens trolled Sean 'Diddy' Combs for slamming Linday Lohan and Jessica Simpson for endorsing Proactiv in an unearthed clip from the 2000s.
