WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Sean Hannity has dismissed the Democratic National Convention in Chicago as merely a “choreographed makeover", suggesting that the event emphasized personality over policy.

According to Mediaite, during an interview with Brian Kilmeade on 'Fox & Friends', Hannity expressed his skepticism about the convention’s presentation.

Sean Hannity mocks Joe Biden’s high-energy DNC appearance

Sean Hannity offered his critique of the DNC with a touch of sarcasm, remarking on the “return” of  “Jacked-up Joe", a nod to President Joe Biden’s high-energy appearance.

“We saw the return last night of Jacked-up Joe! It was great to see. Perhaps if they gave him a little more Monster Energy drink or Red Bull in the months leading up to the coup, he might still be the nominee. But apparently they didn’t get the memo,” he quipped.

Following a disastrous debate performance against former president Donald Trump on June 27, Biden had faced calls from within his party to withdraw from the 2024 race. Finally, Biden dropped out on July 21 and endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee.

In his speech on the first day of the DNC, Biden addressed rumors that he is upset about ending his reelection campaign, stating, “I love the job, but I love my country more.”

“I’m not just why there was so much screaming last night!” Hannity said. “Conventions are what they are. Every second is choreographed, every line is approved, everything is predictable.”

He further said, "The truth is, there's nothing real or authentic about this convention going on right behind me or the Harris-Walz campaign. Even a simple trip to a gas station is seemingly scripted."

Additionally, Hannity took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her of sidestepping her record in her appeal to voters. He labeled her as “radical” and said, “Kamala can’t run on her record. She can’t run on her own words. She can’t run on the fact that she co-sponsored Medicare for All with Bernie Sanders, universal healthcare, the elimination of private insurance, that’s not going to fly with the American people.”
