Sean Hannity dubbed 'liar' after claiming Donald Trump 'has not gotten a fair trial' in hush-money case
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Sean Hannity is again questioning the fairness of the hush-money trial Donald Trump is currently facing in a New York court.
The ex-leader has been accused of forging his business records as he handed over $130,000 to former porn star Stormy Daniels to hide a sex scandal.
The conservative broadcast host said on his show, ‘Hannity’, as reported by Fox News, “I said from day one, Donald Trump can't get a fair trial in New York, and he's not gotten a fair trial in New York.”
Sean Hannity blasts judge Juan Merchan
Referring to Judge Juan Manuel Merchan, who is overseeing the trial and had reportedly donated $35 to Democrats at the time of the 2020 election, Hannity continued, “Joe Biden donor Judge Merchan has been against Donald Trump from day one."
“The only real crime detail during the case involved not Donald Trump, but Michael Cohen, their star witness, stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the Trump Organization,” he said.
During the trial, Cohen, who had served as the vice president of the Trump Organization, admitted to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from his employer.
On May 20 in court, Cohen "confessed to larceny, admitting he stole $60,000 from his old boss."

In his rant, Hannity alleged that people who are against Trump “knew about it, and they never arrested him anyway, or charged him.”
The 62-year-old further noted while citing CNN, “While Trump was supposedly committing a nebulous class E felony, he was the victim of a much more serious class C felony that the prosecution never bothered to charge.”
“Instead, they chose to employ a novel legal theory with an unexplained campaign finance violation in order to up-charge a misdemeanor past their statute of limitations into a felony,” he asserted, before once again slamming Merchan.
Hannity said, “Judge Merchan was more than happy to lend a helping hand. In fact, Merchan even blocked testimony from a former FEC chairman that knows the law, you know, who the defense plans to use to clarify the federal election law."
“Another biased, disgraceful example of nothing but a Biden-donor, prejudiced judge,” he added.

But people on the internet do not seem to agree with Hannity’s words.
A user on X just wrote, “Nope.”
Another commented, “There are 787 million reasons why Hannity should stop talking due to liability.”

A person asked Hannity, “Do you think all criminals should get to choose their courts and judges... or just Trump?”

“@seanhannity you're a liar…” someone else said.
A sarcastic comment read, “You're right. He's been given every courtesy and additional privileges that no other citizen has ever received. It hasn't been fair; anyone else would have been in jail.”
