Selena Gomez sparks rumors of taking Ozempic as she stuns fans with much slimmer look at 2025 SAG Awards

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez has created a lot of stir online after she arrived at the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on Sunday, February 23, looking very slim.

The actress was glowing in a plunging Celine navy gown, featuring off the shoulder sleeves and a thigh-high slit, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Gomez added a pair of strappy heels, from Jimmy Choo, to accentuate her look while rocking a face full of makeup, including blush, a bright red lipstick, bronzer, and black liquid eyeliner.

The 32-year-old singer was not nominated in any category of the SAG Awards, but she and her cast members of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ were nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, which they eventually won.

She was also eyeing for an award in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Cast for her work in ‘Emilia Perez’.

However, fans were more interested in the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ actress’ seemingly slimmed down look. Some were mesmerized by her while some were speculating if Gomez was taking Ozempic or a weight loss drug.

This came months after Gomez in November disclosed that she suffers from small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

As per Mayo Clinic it happens “when there is an abnormal increase in the overall bacterial population in the small intestine — particularly types of bacteria not commonly found in that part of the digestive tract.”

She made the revelation after watching a since-deleted TikTok video that criticized her body.

“This makes me sick. I have SEBO in my small intestine. It flares up. I don't care that I don't look like a stick figure. I don't have that body. End of story. No, I am NOT a victim. I'm just human,” the ‘Another Cinderella Story’ actress added.
