PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump has responded to criticism following a widely circulated video of former first lady Melania Trump's facial expressions during a recent fundraising event at Palm Beach.

The 77-year-old MAGA figurehead posted a nearly three-minute-long video montage showcasing the couple's past, including footage from their wedding, on Truth Social on Sunday, April 7.

What did the dedicated romantic video for Melania entail?

Trump introduces Melania, 53, as an "incredible woman" and an "amazing mother" in the opening moments of the video.

Starship's 1987 hit "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" can be heard throughout the video, per a report from OKMagazine.

Trump concludes the video by claiming, "Our first lady has been a woman of great grace, beauty, and dignity, and so popular with the people."

Melania has been conspicuous by her absence at her husband's side during the 2024 campaign, so when she was spotted standing next to the former POTUS at billionaire investor John Paulson's Palm Beach residence, she didn't seem particularly thrilled.

Trump asserted at the event, "We're going to make America great again; everyone knows it."

However, many people couldn't help but wonder what the former FLOTUS was thinking at that moment on Sunday.

Melania hasn't been seen on the campaign trail, but Trump has stood up for his wife, saying she doesn't want to be in front of the cameras.

“[The people] love the fact that she’s not out there so much," the presumptive 2024 GOP nominee said at the time.

“You know, a lot of first ladies will go out. They want to be everywhere. They get angry at their husband because he’s not introducing them. If I didn’t introduce Melania she’d be very happy about it. She’s just a different kind of a person. And she loves the country.”

Internet mocks Trump for sharing romantic video montage featuring wife Melania

People on X trolled the former president for putting out a dedicated romantic video for Melania Trump amid rumors of their marital distress.

One X user remarked, "Will the "incredible woman" be with him and supporting at his porn star trial next week? She hasn't shown up for his other trials or his rallies."

Another user asked, "Has she gone missing again? It's obvious they don't live together."

Another user claimed, "NOW He Lying to Us Saying Everything is fine between Him and His wife...Sure Donald Sure. Try again."

One user said, "His reputation is so trashed that he now has to boost his wife up? So weak. So desperate."

Another X user wrote, "We've seen the looks she's giving you and they ain't pretty, in your dreams pal I hope she stashed some money away."

Finally, this user tweeted, "To bad she can’t stand you!"
