LOUISIANA, UNITED STATES: Gypsy Rose Blanchard is once again causing a stir on social media, claiming that the criticism from Nicholas Godejohn's supporters is unfair, as reported by TMZ.

Blanchard has constantly been in the news, most recently for sharing her experiences in solitary confinement, and how she ended up in the situation because a fan had expressed a desire to help her escape from prison.

Recent reactions on social media to Blanchard have been diverse, with some users feeling inundated by her continuous online presence. The 'happy release day' initiative, launched by Gypsy's fans to commemorate her freedom, has faced scrutiny from certain quarters.

In a recent TMZ report, it was highlighted that Gypsy is facing a barrage of criticism from supporters of Nick Godejohn. This criticism has persisted since her release from prison. Despite this, Gypsy believes that the detractors are not giving her a fair evaluation.

Gypsy, who recently completed an 8-year prison sentence for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, has found herself at odds with Godejohn's supporters.

Godejohn, her ex-boyfriend, is still serving a life sentence for the first-degree murder of Dee Dee. Surprisingly, some of his supporters are displeased with Gypsy being released while he remains incarcerated.

According to sources close to Gypsy as reported by TMZ, she has been inundated with negativity due to the perception that she is a murderer. Gypsy contests this characterization, emphasizing that she did not physically carry out the act but was involved in plotting it.

TMZ further reports that Gypsy finds it peculiar that Godejohn is receiving sympathy from those advocating for his release. It's highlighted that Gypsy testified during Godejohn's 2018 trial, claiming that she devised the plan to kill Dee Dee as a means to escape her mother's abuse.

She believes her testimony was the right thing to do to clear her conscience, and it played a role in helping her forgive herself.

Now, Gypsy has distanced herself from any emotional ties with Godejohn and is actively avoiding communication with him, as per TMZ. She is focused on leaving their tumultuous past behind and moving forward with her new life.

Nicholas Godejohn made headlines recently when he shared a cryptic email with a news source, identifying himself as Mr Smiley and expressing that it's time to speak the truth.

Another user commented, "Just watched The Act…and she is as guilty as he is if not more!! She should still be in prison. How do you blame a man with an IQ of a 12 year old and sentence him to life like he is the mastermind behind it? He is where he should be but she should be sharing that life sentence."
