Savannah Chrisley explains why sister Lindsie wasn't allowed to attend parents Todd, Julie's court hearing
GEORGIA, ATLANTA: While reality TV personality Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie await an appeal about their prison sentence—for their tax and fraud case—a sibling feud develops at home.
Todd's eldest daughter Lindsie Chrisley, 34, recently revealed on her 'Southern Tea' podcast that her sibling Savannah Chrisley, 26, had asked her not to attend their parents' Friday, April 19, court appeal.
Consecutively, Savannah has explained her side of the story that she sent a message through their grandmother Nanny Faye Chrisley asking her sister to stay away, per Daily Mail.
Lindsie Chrisley 'was not in attendance' at parents Todd and Julie's court hearing
The reality star's older daughter Lindsie asserted on her 'Southern Tea' podcast on Wednesday, April 24, that her sister Savannah asked her not to attend their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley's April 19 public appeals hearing in Georgia.
"I was not in attendance," Lindsie remarked. "I know a lot of people were saying from the footage that they saw from the courthouse that they did not see me there and that's because I was not there."
Lindsie continued: "I do feel that it was in the best interest for me and everyone else. My sister privately let the message get to us that she did not want us present at the hearing."
"And it was shared with me that if we were there, there would be issues and that we would be asked to leave," she added.
"It's mind-blowing to me, the control and manipulation. It very much alarms me and I'm just going to leave it at that," Lindsie said.
Todd was sentenced to 12 years in jail, while Julie was given seven years. In January 2023, the father, 55, and the mother, 51, turned themselves in for their respective prison terms. Their sentences were shortened by two years apiece in September 2023.

Savannah subsequently confirmed that Lindsie's disclosure was true on April 24 in an Instagram Stories Q&A. She did, however, clarify why the call was placed in the first place, even if her first plan was not "to address this publicly at all."
"I most certainly told her privately to not attend," the former beauty queen affirmed. "I told her that she was not wanted, that my dad did not want her there and that he didn't care to have a relationship with her."
Savannah went on, "So, I said all of these things. I am more than happy that I said them and it's my parents' appeal. They have the right to say who they want there and who they don't."
Savannah proceeded to describe Lindsie's alleged "involvement with the government" in facilitating their parents' conviction and her elder sister's endeavor to "sue" her.
"It hates [sic] me to even discuss this but the record has to be set straight," Savannah said, per PEOPLE.
Despite a short period of peace, Lindsie and the Chrisley family are again embroiled in a public rivalry with Savannah. They have both expressed a lack of interest in settling the conflict in recent months.
Lindsie stated that their relationship at present is "nothing" and that her younger sister "has never privately reached out to me to discuss her apparent issues with me."
In October 2023, Savannah revealed to PEOPLE that she is "good" and that she doesn't "do well with constant lies and victim mentality."
