Meghan played the character of Rachel Zane in the original show.

Despite the buzz, Meghan, now the Duchess of Sussex, has consistently expressed her focus on philanthropy and entrepreneurship, ruling out a return to acting. The recent 'Suits' reunion at the Golden Globes did not feature Meghan on stage.

According to Daily Mail, the new show, set in a Hollywood law firm, aims to capture the energy and appeal of the original 'Suits'. While the cast's involvement remains uncertain, the LA setting suggests a different world from the original New York-based series.

'Suits', originally aired from 2011 to 2019, starred Patrick J Adams alongside Meghan Markle. Meghan's departure from the show preceded her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Despite attempts to reach Meghan, the cast faced challenges, with Patrick Adams expressing hesitations.

The Golden Globes cast does not have Meghan's contact information anymore, Gina Torres revealed at the reunion. In response to a question about inviting Meghan to the event, Gina said, "We don't have her number. We just don't so. She'll see. She'll watch. She'll be happy that we're here."
