LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lovebirds Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are reportedly finalizing their long-awaited wedding plans, but sources suggest that Chris's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, may risk losing her invitation if she continues to meddle in the arrangements.

According to Radar Online, the dynamic between the 34-year-old bride-to-be and her 51-year-old fiance's ex-wife has become strained due to Gwyneth's assertive involvement in the wedding preparations.

Sources indicate that while Dakota values her amicable relationship with Gwyneth and appreciates her advice, she is growing frustrated with what is described as Gwyneth's domineering attitude.

"Dakota is grateful she and Gwyneth have a good relationship and she's happy to get her advice, but the downside is that Gwyneth tends to take over," an insider spilled to the National Enquirer.

"She's very bossy and when you give her an inch, she takes a mile!"

The tension reportedly arises from differences in wedding preferences, with Dakota aiming for a more traditional approach while Gwyneth allegedly pushes for a theme aligned with her lifestyle brand, Goop.

According to sources, the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' star desires less involvement from her partner's ex-wife and more guidance from her own mother, Working Girl star Melanie Griffith.

"Dakota and her mom have been dreaming about this since she was little," the source noted. "She has very clear ideas of how she wants her wedding."

"Gwyneth is already butting heads with Dakota's planner because she's basically trying to turn it into a Goop-themed wedding — which is not what Dakota wants!" the source revealed.

"Dakota is a people pleaser but even she has her limits," the source added. "If Gwyneth doesn't back off, she's going to snap!"

The couple, who have been together for six years, announced their engagement in 2020 and have since shared a home in Malibu.

Sources claimed that the 'Yellow' singer was keen on seeing Dakota walk down the aisle this summer, hoping that a wedding would boost her spirits following a disappointing box office performance of her 'Spider-Man' spin-off, 'Madame Web.'

"Chris brought her back from the brink by pushing for a summer wedding," the source added. "She needed some good news right about now."

Dakota herself addressed the harsh reviews of her recent film, acknowledging, "It's not nice to be a part of something that's ripped to shreds, but I can't say that I don't understand," Dakota confessed. "I probably will never do anything like it again because I don't make sense in that world."
