Simone Biles wears Jonathan Owens-inspired outfit at NFL game sparking debate: 'Don’t see the attraction'

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Simone Biles is leaving no stone unturned to showcase her support for NFL star husband Jonathan Owens. 

The 27-year-old Olympic gold medalist, who is basking in her NFL WAG era, recently went all out in support of her Chicago Bears safety husband Owen. 

Biles recently went to cheer for her husband during the Bears’ match with the Seattle Seahawks and she sent a message loud and clear. The athlete wore a custom outfit with several pictures of Jonathan boldly printed on it.

On Thursday, December 26, Simone Biles opted for a white co-ord set featuring her husband’s picture in Bears’ gear. 

According to Daily Mail, her husband, whom Simone met through the celebrity dating app Raya in August 2020, was featured at least a dozen times in print on her jacket and trousers. 

After dating for three years, the couple tied the knot in April 2023. Since then, Simone has been a steady presence during many of Jonathan’s games. 

When the Olympian is not busy practicing her craft, she is often found cheering for her husband from the stands. While the seven-time gold medalist is not new to the stands, she is also not new to criticism about her WAG outfit. 

As soon as her outfit for Thursday’s match was featured, fans took to social media to share their opinion about it. 

Though some fans were blown over by the concept, a section of the netizens found the outfit to be “ugly.”

Earlier this season, Simone was criticized for wearing a Greenbay Packers jacket while supporting her husband during his match for the Bears. 

Before joining the Chicago team in 2023, Jonathan played for the Packers for one year during the 2023 season.

Simone's outfit, however, divided the Internet as some fans declared it a "thoughtful" gesture. However, some others declared it an "ugly outfit."

One of the social media users gushed, "I love when the GFS and wives have custom attire for their player. Like fur coats, jerseys, etc so thoughtful."

"She's the only person in the world that should be wearing that outfit," shared someone else. 

Another user declared, "Simone Biles fits are always top tier."

"Damn - who made that..bet it cost a pretty penny - let’s go Simone!! Awesome outfit!!" cheered someone else about the set.

However, everyone was not a fan of the outfit, as one of the netizens quipped, "I guess the #Packers jacket was in the wash 😉," referencing her infamous Packers jacket which she previously wore to a Bears game.

Someone else criticized, "Supporting her husband is sweet but that outfit is weird. Is that rug material??? Knit??"

"Positive Take: Simone Biles wearing a Bears sweater instead of a Packers sweater is nice," quipped someone else. 

Another user followed, "Sorry, I don’t see the attraction. At least she wasn’t wearing a packer jacket. 🤡."
