Lucy-Bleu Knight’s autopsy report contains her chilling note to responders

In August, the Los Angeles County's medical examiner revealed in a statement that the 25-year-old makeup artist died of hydrogen sulfide toxicity, while they ruled the manner of death to be a “suicide.”

According to a report published by Daily Mail, Knight took immense care to warn the first responders of the lingering toxicity in the air.

Per the outlet, Knight was found unresponsive in the bathroom of the house. However, she placed a cautionary note on the trash can placed in the kitchen for the first responders to see.

Thinking about the first responders’ safety, so that they didn’t get affected by the toxic gas, Knight wrote on the note, “CAUTION CALL HAZMAT IM SO SORRY H2S GAS TOXIC DONT ENTER.”

According to the outlet, the note was positioned such that anyone entering the house from the front door would get to see the note.

The deputies investigating her death found that blue tape had been used to seemingly seal the cracks in the door and ceiling air vents. The tape was also used to cover electrical and light fixtures.

The autopsy report further revealed that the investigators found her body lying on the bathroom floor with tape lining the window openings as well. Moreover, black plastic bags were placed on the floor of the bathroom's walk-in shower.

The officers were informed about something amiss after the rental property owner failed to receive any reply from her after repeatedly messaging.

As the officers entered her home, they reportedly experienced a suction effect and also found a chemical smell. Following the lead by the note, they called a HazMat (Hazardous Materials) team to ensure the safety of the house.

From her home, the investigators found multiple prescription medications including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder treating medicines like the antidepressant escitalopram and the atypical antipsychotic paliperidone.

Per the outlet, her family had indicated that Knight “was paranoid and would have hallucinations.”

However, a toxicology report revealed she had no prescription medications in her system, meaning she stopped administering the medicines before her tragic death.

Her autopsy report further revealed that Knight had multiple parallel scars on her left arm.

Lucy-Bleu Knight shared a poignant post

The note to the responders wasn’t the only written word she left.

Her death was announced by her beloved stepfather Slash (born Saul Hudson) who shared a post on his Instagram, writing, “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.”

“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul,” wrote the guitarist in his post.

The statement continued, “The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”

Just three hours after his announcement, a post appeared on Knight’s Instagram feed along with a close up photo of her.

Knight shared with thousands of her followers on Instagram, “Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.”

“Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace,” continued the note.

The post appeared to have been scheduled ahead of time.
