"I think it's the best thing that has happened at the Olympics for the entire time. Did anyone see the breakdancing lady? Now I didn't even know breakdancing was an Olympic sport these days. That is f***ing fantastic. I really really do," Adele said, laughing about the performance. “Aaron my percussionist is p***ing himself laughing just thinking about it.”
US rapper Snoop Dogg also weighed in, sharing a meme comparing Gunn's floor moves to those of a cat and commenting with, "Y'all ain't right," accompanied by laughing emojis.

Despite the outpouring of negativity and memes ridiculing her performance, some even accusing her of being unworthy of the Olympic team or claiming her poor performance was intentional for academic reasons, Gunn faced further mockery on TV.
Late-night host Jimmy Fallon used his show to parody her routine, with comedian Rachel Dratch performing a humorous imitation.

Raygun's friends voice concerns over trolls targeting her performance
Gunn did not return to Australia with her fellow Olympians but chose to vacation in Europe with her husband and coach, Samuel Free. Australian champion Jessica Fox expressed concern over the impact of the online backlash on Gunn.
"I did speak to her; it is devastating for her," Fox told the Sydney Morning Herald. "To see the toll ... she is human and it is massive what she has been through over the last week. She has definitely been feeling it. There is a human behind all that, and people are so quick to be awful. She doesn't deserve that."
The Australian team rallied around Gunn during the closing ceremony, with teammates showing their support by dancing alongside her.
Fox highlighted the significance of this gesture, saying, "It was special for us to be able to rally around her at the closing ceremony, and show our appreciation to her as a valued member of our team."
Other Australian Olympians, including swimmer Zac Stubblety-Cook, also voiced their support, calling the criticism disappointing and praising Gunn for maintaining her smile during the ceremony.
Internet calls Raygun ‘first-class comedy act’
Social media reactions to the celebrities' mockery of breakdancer Raygun's Olympic performance were mixed.
One user claimed, “She was a first-class comedy act. If she couldn't forsee the fallout that would follow her off-the-wall routine, she can't be too bright either.”
Another shared, “She deserves all that she gets.. she is a National embarrassment all paid for by the tax payer. We are furious!”
“Three people who may wish to look in the mirror before mocking anyone else.” one person stated.
Another shared, “Whilst the "break dance", was a disgrace, Adele is as common as much.”
The last user added, “Unfortunately the laughs will be called hate and these people may be sued.”
