PARIS, FRANCE: Rapper Snoop Dogg will be among the last few torchbearers of the Paris Olympics flame!
As per reports, he has been chosen for the final hours of its France-wide tour before the opening ceremony on Friday, July 26.

Presently, the ‘Drop It Like It's Hot’ crooner is in the French capital for the games as a sportscaster on NBC’s Primetime in Paris show. He is working with Mike Tirico, the primetime host for NBC’s Paris Olympics coverage.
Snoop Dog will carry the flame during its penultimate leg on Friday around the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, per local media.
This region is part of the Olympic Village, which is hosting the event, and also home to Stade de France and the new Olympic Aquatics Centre.
The flame will then be taken to the Olympic cauldron in the Tuileries Gardens in central Paris, the final destination for the duration of the 2024 Olympics.
The famous French personalities, who’d join Snoop Dogg on Friday, are rapper MC Solaar, actress Laeticia Casta, Saint-Omer film director Alice Diop, Paralympian Charles-Antoine Kouakou, and rugby star Abdelatif Benazzi, reports Deadline.
However, it is unknown who'd be the final torchbearer at the event.
The Olympic flame first arrived in France from Greece on May 8, which was celebrated with a memorable ceremony in the port city of Marseille, and since then it has been touring the nation.
