Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus welcomes baby girl prematurely at 6 months: 'The princess arrived'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cori Broadus recently announced the birth of her first child.
The 25-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg revealed on Friday, February 28, that she has welcomed a baby girl with her fiance Wayne Deuce.

Cori Broadus blamed herself for her baby arriving early
Cori Broadus shared the news on Instagram, revealing that she gave birth prematurely at six months.
In her announcement, Broadus wrote that her daughter was born at 25 weeks.
"The princess arrived at 6 months," Broadus shared, posting a black-and-white photo of the newborn’s tiny foot.
She also opened up about her emotions for not carrying the baby full term.

"I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed," Broadus added to the post.
She continued, "But no matter what God always shows me that he got me."
"Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far," she added.
Cori Broadus reveals she had a C-section
Cori Broader later shared updates through Instagram stories, revealing that she had undergone a cesarean section.
"1st c-section was success:) s/o to the man up above," Broadus wrote in a post showing her lying on the operating table.

She followed up with another update from her hospital bed, explaining that she initially believed she had "a bad case of gas" when she visited the doctor on Thursday, February 27.
Doctors informed her that she was showing symptoms of HELLP syndrome, a rare and life-threatening pregnancy complication.

"If I would've waited a few more days it would've been really bad," Broadus wrote.

Offering advice, she added, "Ladies please listen to your bodies and don't believe everything you see on TIKTOK (talking to myself lowkey)."

Ahead of her baby’s early arrival, Broadus had shared that her pregnancy was considered high-risk due to her health history.
She has battled lupus since childhood and was recovering from a stroke in January 2024.
"I’m high risk pregnancy and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby," Broadus told E! News in December, adding "But God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine."
