LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sofia Vergara, 51, and Joe Manganiello, 47, are officially divorced after a judge put the seal of approval on their settlement on Thursday, April 4.

Per the court documents obtained by Page Six, the former couple split their assets and property according to their prenuptial agreement.

As per the settlement, Manganiello received all his clothing, jewelry, and "miscellaneous personal effects" along with all of his "earnings and accumulations" since the date of his and Vergara's separation, which has been noted as July 2, 2023.

The 'Griselda' star too walked away with all of her personal belongings, including apparel and jewelry, along with her earnings since the date of separation.

Vergara and Manganiello further noted that they did not have "any community property" between them while acknowledging the validity of the prenup. They also waived their right to spousal support.

The former couple tied the knot in November 2015 in a romantic ceremony at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Last summer, Manganiello and Vergara shared the news of their separation after seven years of marriage with a statement to Page Six.

They noted, "We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."

Reason behind Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's divorce

Speaking to the Spanish newspaper El Pais in January, the ‘Hot Pursuit’ star opened up about the reason for their divorce. Vergara shared, "My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom," as per PEOPLE Magazine.

She continued, "I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore."

While filing for divorce, Manganiello cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of the split.

Referring to her son Manolo, whom she shares with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez, Vergara continued, "I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children. I’m almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things."

The 'Modern Family' actress even shared how she plans to carry on with her duty as a grandmother, expressing, "When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while, and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do."

Since their separation, both Vergara and Manganiello have moved on. While the Colombian star has found love in orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, the 'Rampage' actor is apparently head over heels in love with his girlfriend Caitlin O’Connor.
