Sofia Vergara clarifies she's 'single now'
On the recent episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' the 51-year-old actress opened up about her dating life while she talked about why she is spending more time in the Big Apple.
"I love it. Who doesn't love New York City? The people, it's the energy," said Vergara, adding, "I think that you have more options with men, also."

The 'Griselda' actress further clarified her relationship as she noted, "I'm single now, so in New York there are more people."
"There's not only actors or writers or directors, I think there's a bigger [pool]. I'm going to spend more time in New York," she added.
She also added that New York City has "great food for when you go out on dates. It's better, yes."
Sofia Vergara says she has been 'moving on' after Joe Manganiello split
Vergara and Manganiello announced their split in July 2023 after seven years of marriage.
Months after her split, the Colombian-born actress was briefly linked to Dr Justin Saliman after the duo was spotted out together on several occasions.
In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the 'Hot Pursuit' actress said she has been "moving on."
Speaking about the press surrounding her split from the Manganiello, Vergara said, "It wasn't bad. I have to say the press was very respectful and very nice."
"I thought that they were going to invent more things, you know how they usually [do]. And I was just kind of surprised. They kind of just said what it was and that was it," she added.
While Vergara navigates her newfound single status, her estranged husband Manganiello has been seen with actress Caitlin O'Connor, according to ET.

In July 2023, Vergara and Manganiello issued a joint statement announcing their plans to divorce.
"We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives," they wrote.
Reflecting on her year of change, Vergara spoke to ET in September 2023 as she said, "It's been very interesting, you know."
"It's been an interesting year for me. A lot of changes, a lot of good and craziness, and bad things happen and good things happen."
"You know, what makes life so entertaining and interesting… I can't complain. I've had a great, great time. There's always time for more good stuff coming."
