NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Since Sophie Turner's high-profile split from Joe Jonas in September 2023, she has had to confront a lot of mom-shaming and public scrutiny.

Sophie Turner's split from Joe Jonas took an emotional toll on the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' actress who described it as "incredibly sad".
She admitted, "We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard."
Turner, 28, and Jonas, 35, were married for four years before Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023.
Soon after, Turner filed legal documents asserting that Jonas was "unlawfully keeping their children in New York City" and that she wanted them "returned" to her in England.
During this time, Turner was reportedly working on a project in England.
Critics questioned her decision to stay apart from her young daughters, a choice that sources said she made "with some hesitation" given her "very intense" filming schedule.

"It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England," she shared according to Radar Online, describing the "key experiences" she missed with family and friends, including pregnancies and celebrations.
Staying with a friend in London has helped her avoid being alone while her daughters remain with Jonas in the US. The former couple finally reached a settlement in September this year.

"Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious, and I would isolate [myself] a lot. Now, I think I live my life for them."
She acknowledged the “absolute agony” of being separated from her daughters but emphasized her commitment to demonstrating resilience and hard work.
In the midst of her divorce, Turner has also found love again with Peregrine Pearson, who is in line to become the 5th Viscount of Cowdray.
Reflecting on her new relationship, she shared that it began as a simple attempt to start dating but quickly blossomed.
"It came around very quickly. I just needed to go on a date to know how to do it again. That was the first date and the last date, and it’s been great."
Turner described Pearson as "lovely" and "funny" and expressed gratitude for how he has rekindled her playful, joyful side. "He lights me back up," she added.
