MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Stormy Daniels, the key figure in Donald Trump's hush money trial, said she hates him during her testimony on Tuesday, May 7.

Daniels also expressed her feelings about wanting him in jail if he's guilty and also admitted owing him $560,000 in legal fees if she was found guilty of defamation.

Daniels, while being cross-examined by Trump's attorney Susan Necheles, admitted she hates Trump and wishes he received a jail term if found guilty.

As Necheles asked her to correct him "You hate President Trump?" Daniels replied, "Yes," reported CNN.

"I want him to be held accountable," Daniels added when questioned if she wanted him in jail. "If he’s found guilty, yes," she continued.

Stormy Daniels denied she rehearsed her hush money trial testimony

Daniels, who reportedly testified in detail very fast, was asked several times to slow down to make the job easier for court reporters and prosecutors to listen to the in-depth detail she gave.

Daniels told Judge Juan Merchan's court during cross-examination that she hadn't rehearsed her testimony.

"You rehearsed your testimony here, right?" Trump's attorney Necheles asked Daniels to which she replied "No."

However, she admitted that preparing for the testimony was "difficult" as it was "painful" to recall the memories. "I did not know what true court would be like," Daniels said.

Stormy Daniels admits she has chosen not to pay Donald Trump the legal fees

Daniels also accepted owing Trump $560,000 in case she was held guilty of defamation.

Notably, Daniels lost a defamation case against Trump brought in 2018. The lawsuit accused Trump of posting a social media message that called into question Daniels’s sketch of a man who had threatened her to stop telling her affair story about Trump.

Daniels was ordered to pay $300,000 in legal fees to Trump after the judge ruled in his favor, saying the tweet constituted "rhetorical hyperbole normally associated with politics and public discourse in the United States," as reported by the New York Times

When Trump's attorney asked Daniels on Tuesday if she has chosen not to pay, she replied, "I've chosen not to pay while it's still pending, yes."

"He prevailed but I was not found to have lost," she said of the defamation case.

Internet reacts to Stormy Daniels wanting jail for Donald Trump

The majority on the Internet sided with Daniels about Trump receiving a jail term. Few insisted it was Daniels who should be held for extortion.

"So do the majority of Americans," wrote one siding with Daniel in her desire to wish Trump jail if he's found guilty.

"She has exceeded expectations," wrote one. "Solid answer," added another X user.

"The majority of the American people want Donald J. Toddler to be held accountable!" penned another individual. "It's time he was held accountable," remarked one more.

"Get to the part where she lied multiple times and she owes President Trump $500 and refuses to pay," noted one. "She should be held accountable for extortion," added another X user.
