'The View' host Sunny Hostin labeled 'obnoxious' after she schools ex-hosts who trash talk show
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sunny Hostin is reflecting on former colleagues from 'The View' who speak negatively about their time on the show post-departure.
In a recent interview, the former prosecutor expressed her disappointment regarding ex-co-hosts who disparage their tenure on the ABC morning program.
Sunny Hostin reflects on the special bond among former 'The View' co-hosts
"I’m always surprised when people speak negatively about our show if I’m being honest," Hostin conveyed to US Weekly. "We’ve had 27 years, we’ve had, maybe 24 co-hosts, and you were part of a sisterhood, and it’s really special."
Hostin maintains close relationships with past co-hosts such as Sherri Shepherd, Paula Faris, and Candace Cameron Bure, the latter of whom recently graced the show and even sent Hostin wine from her vineyard. "We are all close regardless of our personal views," Hostin emphasized.
"We leave all of that at the table. I’m always surprised when someone says, ‘I don’t like that person,’ because it’s never personal, and we go into it knowing that," Hostin said.

While Hostin refrained from mentioning names, it's apparent that Meghan McCain and Rosie O’Donnell have publicly aired grievances about their time on the show.
Hostin reflected on the guidance she received from Barbara Walters after joining the show, highlighting the importance of understanding that on-air debates are not personal—a sentiment echoed by Whoopi Goldberg. Continuing this tradition, Hostin extends advice to co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, reassuring her that disagreements on-air are separate from personal relationships.
She said, “I’m going to argue you down to the ground, and then we’re going to go out for martinis and it’s going to be OK.”
"We’re talking about our families. We’ve had cohosts talk about struggles with mental health. We’ve had co-hosts talk about weight loss, weight gain. We’ve had co-hosts talk about divorce. Imagine if you get off that stage and it’s not a safe space. It would be an impossible job," Hostin remarked.
Internet thinks Sunny Hostin is just another 'obnoxious' co-host of 'The View'

One user wrote, "I can’t remember ever seeing anyone that dismisses anyone else’s opinions more than her. She’s seems to believe that’s she’s the smartest person in the room. Seems a bit narcissistic."
Another added, "Hostin is nothing more than another obnoxious member of The View" lovely lady panel, joining the ranks of Goldberg & Behar. "
