Internet joins Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles as he praises granddaughter Blue Ivy for her 'determination’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matthew Knowles, 72, is the greatest cheerleader of Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Knowles, who previously acted as the manager of his ‘Crazy in Love’ songstress daughter, recently took to his Instagram to pen a long supportive message for his 12-year-old granddaughter.

The proud grandfather shared a close-up shot of the starlet from one of her performances at Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour along with the caption that was addressed to “Dear Blue Ivy".

She was donning a sparkly camouflage turtle neck dress with natural makeup. Her curly hair was tied in an upswept ponytail, as the youngster looked determined while performing, per Daily Mail.

Knowles started the note with an anecdote highlighting Blue Ivy’s dedication toward her craft, as he wrote, “I remember coming back stage in London to the Renaissance concert and asking about you.” 

Referring to the 'Texas Hold 'Em' singer, he wrote, “Beyonce replied “she is there rehearsing” and then I understood why because one of your friends had commented negatively about your first performance on the tour. In that moment I was so proud that you wanted to put in the work to get better."

He praised Blue Ivy’s determination and grit to say, “I want to take a moment to appreciate the amazing determination and willingness to learn that you displayed. Your excitement for life and your eagerness to soak up knowledge and new experiences is truly inspiring.”

Knowles continued, “You have already shown the world that you are a force to be reckoned with, and I have no doubt that one day you will continue to astound us all.⁠”

Beyonce’s father continued, “It's clear that you have an extraordinary Knowles spirit, and I am confident that you will find your true passion in life.”

“Whether it's in music, art, science, business, or any other field, I hope that you have the courage to pursue it wholeheartedly. Whatever path you choose, I hope it brings you fulfillment, joy, and a deep sense of purpose,” added Knowles.

“I also want to encourage you to never be afraid of exploring new opportunities. The world is full of endless possibilities, and I hope you are brave enough to step outside of your comfort zone and seize the chances that come your way,” said Knowles.

He suggested, “Always be open to new experiences, for they have the potential to broaden your horizons and lead you to uncharted territories.⁠”

“Blue Ivy, I hope you may continue to embrace life with the same determination and willingness to learn that you possess now,” wrote Knowles.

“Your journey is just beginning, and I have no doubt that you will leave an lasting mark on the world (sic),” shared the grandfather before adding, “Chase your dreams, follow your heart, and always believe in the extraordinary potential that lies within you.”

Matthew Knowles’ post for Blue Ivy came after the starlet joined her ‘Halo’ singer mother on her Renaissance World Tour in 2023. 

After debuting at the tour’s stop in Paris, Blue Ivy was a constant presence at almost all the stops on the North American leg of the tour.
