Swifties outraged after Taylor Swift's wax figure unveiled at German museum
HAMBURG, GERMANY: The Panoptikum Wax Museum in Hamburg, Germany, revealed a statue of Taylor Swift on Tuesday, August 13, and it appears that her fans are not pleased.
With a vast collection of more than 120 figures, the Panoptikum Wax Museum is the largest and oldest wax museum in Germany, featuring Elvis Presley to The Beatles.
The 'Cruel Summer' singer's longtime friend Ed Sheeran has also received a lifelike wax statue at the German museum, as per E! News.

Taylor Swift's wax figure at Germany's Panoptikum Wax Museum leaves fans displeased
Swifties were quick to point out to the museum and artist that, except for blonde hair and a glittery gown, the sculpture bore minimal similarity to the 34-year-old pop star.

The statue was painstakingly created by Berlin-based artist Lisa Buscher over a span of seven months, as per Radar Online.
The wax Swift wears knee-high embroidered boots and an iridescent romper with pink and blue sequins—similar to an outfit the songstress wore to the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
It has been posed doing the singer's well-known "heart hands" gesture.

Buscher commented on creating Swift's artwork, saying, "Achieving the perfect likeness is particularly challenging when it comes to a wrinkle-free, flawless beauty."
She added, "A particular challenge was designing her hands in the typical heart pose. Coordinating so that the hands meet well at the front was not easy. The same goes for the painting of the head. After all, a wax figure shouldn't look 'waxy'"
According to Daily Mail, Swift's wax sculpture is expected to be displayed in the museum among the resemblance of Sheeran, Angelina Jolie, Queen Elizabeth II, Karl Lagerfeld, and Henry VIII.
Sheeran looked a lot like the singer when his wax figurine was first shown last summer, even down to the guitar slung over his shoulder.
Fans remarked on the statue's strange hand posture in addition to the strange facial structure.
Swift typically forms a heart with all her fingers as she gestures to the crowds during her sold-out gigs. The fake hands of the figure are positioned so that just the thumb and index finger form a heart, while the other fingers are conspicuously standing straight up.
The figure was unveiled a few weeks after the sensation's performance in Germany during her wildly popular Eras Tour's European leg.
Swifties say museum did Taylor Swift 'dirty' with wax figure
Although the artist truly attempted to recreate Taylor Swift's appearance, Swifties flocked to social media to share why they didn't like the figure.
One wrote, "When ur mum says u have ed sheeran and taylor swift at home," as another added expressed disbelief at Swift's resemblance—or lack thereof—writing, "Omg they did her so dirty."
A person exclaimed, "Throw it away," while one more remarked, "Who is that…"

"Y’all…. So….. my brain and my eyes completely skipped over the heart that her hands are making and was wondering why she standing like she was about to catch a football," expressed an individual.
One more fan joked, "Taylor needs to sue the museum." Another fan said, "Lmaoo shes never done a hand heart like that yikes."
