LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brad Pitt invited his friend George Clooney and the GQ crew to his French winery for a photoshoot amid his legal dispute with ex-wife Angelina Jolie involving the property.

In a new cover feature for GQ's September edition, Pitt, 60, and Clooney, 63, discussed their lifelong friendship ahead of their reunion in the upcoming movie 'Wolfs.'

Brad Pitt uses Chateau Miraval he purchased with ex Angelina Jolie for latest photoshoot

Pitt chose to have his latest GQ picture session in Chateau Miraval in Correns, France, with his 'Wolfs' co-star Clooney. This is the same 1,200-acre winery valued at $164 million that is the focus of his three-year court struggle with Jolie.

The expansive estate is also the place where Jolie, 49, and Pitt got married in August 2014.

The 'Troy' actor and his second wife purchased the vineyard in 2011 for $28.4 million. However, in 2021, Pitt sued Jolie for selling her share of the firm to the Stoli Group without his consent, which sparked a countersuit, per Daily Mail.

During their high-fashion shoot, Pitt and his co-star Clooney stood for Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø.

Pitt told GQ that he was "really just trying to enjoy the people that I love around me and just living" throughout the conversation, pointing to the vineyard and the property.

"I don’t know how to not sound cheesy about it, but just the air is fresh and grass is green and I’ve just kind of become that guy a little bit," he added.

Had former couple Pitt and Jolie not filed for divorce in 2016, they would have celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on August 23.

Brad Pitt accused of exploiting French winery as his 'personal piggy bank' in latest countersuit

Angelina Jolie transferred her company Nouvel and its shares to Tenute del Mondo, which on May 13 countersued Pitt and his company Mondo Bongo for damages of €20 million pertaining to Pitt's ownership of the Château Miraval winery.

Tenute del Mondo stated in court records obtained by People that Pitt directed assets and money from Chateau Miraval "to be spent on his personal expenses and to be diverted to his other business ventures rather than be paid out as dividends and loan repayments."

Pitt and his business, Mondo Bongo, are being accused in the litigation relating to the vineyard of converting Chateau Miraval "into their personal piggy bank."

A source said at the time that the allegation that Pitt stole from the vineyard was "absurd", stating that Pitt "built Miraval, and his connection to it is a key reason for its success."

According to Jolie's legal team, she attempted to sell Pitt her share of Miraval back, but she withdrew from the agreement after objecting to an NDA.

In a statement released in July, her attorney urged that Pitt should drop his case in order to "end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing."
