Taylor Lautner 'wins' viral camera flip trend with playful swipe at 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Lautner hilariously trolled his ‘Twilight’ co-star Robert Pattinson as he joined the camera flip trend.
The 32-year-old actor, who played the werewolf Jacob Black in 'The Twilight Saga' film series, which also starred Kristen Stewart, shared his take on the viral trend on Instagram on Saturday, November 16, as per Daily Mail.
The trend is reportedly about people expressing their views on any topic, pretending to be someone else before they "accidentally" flip the camera toward themselves to "reveal" their identity.
Pretending to be a fan, he showed a scene from the 2012’s 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' film, where Pattinson’s Edward Cullen got married to Stewart's Bella Swan, Lautner wrote, "Honestly screw Edward. Bella should have ended up with Jacob."

But he ended up disclosing his face by "accidentally" turning the camera as he yelled, "No, no, no." He captioned the video as "Ugh."
'The Twilight Saga' films are based on Stephenie Meyer's book series that focuses on the love triangle of Jacob, Edward, and Bella.
The two men fought to win Bella’s love, however, in the end, she ended up with Edward. There has been a longstanding debate among the fans about the ending and Lautner's post seems to have reignited the conversation.
Taylor Lautner 'never really connected' with co-star Robert Pattinson
Similar to their characters, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson might not have shared a great bond in real life.
During his appearance on Alex Cooper's ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast last December, Lautner said, "I think it was tough. I don't know for him, but for me at least, yeah, it definitely, especially at the age I was at, you get your feelings hurt sometimes when you shouldn't."
"It's hard not to sometimes. It was a little difficult," shared the 'Abduction' actor, before adding, "We never really connected on a deep level just because we’re different humans. But he was always fantastic and the sweetest person ever."
He also explained how their characters impacted them in real life.
"I think it was awkward at times for the two of us to be standing together on a balcony and having 10,000 girls booing Rob but then cheering for me, but then this half booing me and cheering [for Rob], but then us having to have some sort of friendship. It was difficult," expressed Lautner.
