LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pop sensation Taylor Swift has made a comeback, but this time, it's not in the realm of music. The 'Anti-hero' songstress is once again searchable on X after briefly disappearing from X searches.

While Swift has consistently been in the headlines for various reasons, the incident that temporarily removed her from X searches caused quite a stir among her dedicated fan base.

Recently, platform X saw the circulation of fake and explicit AI-generated images featuring the singer, fueling the 'Taylor Swift AI' trend that gained significant traction.

In addition to the controversy, Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had fans in a frenzy after celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas predicted a potential engagement for the 'Lover' singer and her beau in 2025.

Taylor Swift becomes searchable on X again

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, searches for Swift's name were temporarily disabled over the weekend due to an overwhelming influx of explicit AI-generated images circulating on the social media platform X.

This resulted in the removal of all search results for 'Taylor Swift AI' or “Taylor Swift.' X has now reinstated the ability to search for her name.

In response to the incident, X issued a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, stating, “Search has been re-enabled and we will continue to be vigilant for any attempt to spread this content and will remove it if we find it."



 

The situation prompted not only Swift's loyal fanbase, the Swifties, to rally behind her but also garnered support from organizations like SAG-AFTRA. The latter called for categorizing the creation of AI-generated images as illegal, expressing solidarity with the singer.

Additionally, an insider also recently reported that Swift is angered by the distribution of these fake images and is contemplating legal action against those responsible.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Daily Dot revealed that the images had been viewed at least 22 million times before X took measures to remove and crack down on the posts.
