MUNICH, GERMANY: Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concerts have become legendary, all thanks to her dazzling performances which have captivated audiences in cities like London, Dublin, Hamburg, and more.

Her recent show at the Olympiastadion stadium in Munich drew over 40,000 fans who watched the concert from a hill overlooking the concert venue!

The massive crowd at Swift's Munich show has been breaking the internet, with circulated footage on social media showing thousands of extra fans in attendance.

Remarkably, the Olympiastadion itself hosted 74,000 enthusiastic Swifties. The pop star also acknowledged the incredible number of people who had gathered outside the venue during her performance, adding to the unforgettable experience of the night.

Taylor Swift fans swarm hill in Olympiapark to watch her perform

On Saturday, July 27, Taylor Swift, 34, took the stage at the Olympiastadion for her first of two shows in the German city of Munich. She also gave a shoutout to thousands of fans who had gathered outside the concert venue.

Photos captured the scene outside the concert, where Swifties who could not get the tickets to the concert were tailgating and camping in the Olympia Berg Hill just behind the Olympiastadion.

Fans packed tightly along the hill in Olympiapark and on the banks of the Nymphenburg Canal, pitching brightly colored tents to catch Swift's show from outside the stadium for free.

In videos captured by fans on X (formerly Twitter), Swift could be heard acknowledging the crowds outside from onstage.

"We've got people in a park outside the stadium, thousands of people listening from out there!" she told the cheering crowd.

"I just feel so incredibly welcomed, and we're gonna spend all night trying to make it up to you."

During the show, Swift thrilled her fans with a guitar performance of 'Fresh Out the Slammer', one of her surprise songs, as per Eras Tour tradition, incorporating it into a mash-up with her 1989 hit 'You Are in Love'. She then moved to her piano for a performance of 'Ivy' from 'Evermore' mixed with 'Call It What You Want' from 'Reputation'.

When she flubbed the opening notes, she remarked, "Sometimes you just don't hit the right note," before restarting the song.

Before her first show in Munich, Swift played two shows in Hamburg, Germany, on Tuesday, July 23, and Wednesday, July 24. Despite dealing with rainy weather, she brought out her 'Fuzzy Hair Me' alter-ego, as she described in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 25.

"Been having a blast watching these new Eras crowd traditions unfold all throughout Europe… You guys are seriously so creative," Swift added, before teasing her next show on July 27: "See you 🔜 Munich!"
