LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift may have taken a dig at Formula One star Fernando Alonso in her latest album. According to some motorsport fans, the ‘Karma’ singer is referencing her ex in ‘The Tortured Poets Department.'

The two were believed to be dating last year before Swift started her romance with NFL star Travis Kelce.

Is Taylor singing about Fernando Alonso?

The year’s most anticipated album was released on Friday, April 19, and has the song ‘imgonnagetyouback.’ In the track, Swift talks about an Aston Martin falling in a ditch, and interestingly, Alonso drives the sportscar.

The 34-year-old has talked about her past flings in earlier songs as well, including Harry Styles and Joe Jonas, per the Daily Mail. “Small talk, big walk, act like I don't care what you did I'm an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch,” Swift sings.

“Then ran and hid. And I'll tell you one thing, honey. I can take the upper hand and touch your body,' Swift continued. 'Flip the script and leave you like a dumb house party Or I might just love you 'til the end (Ah-ah-ah).”

'The Alchemy', the 15th song on 'The Tortured Poets Department' went viral instantly, in which the singer's references to Kelce are the most obvious.

“Cheers chanting 'cause they said / There was no chance / Trying to be the greatest in the league / Where's the trophy?/ He just comes running over to me,” she sings.

Internet reacts to Taylor Swift's possible shade at F1 star Fernando Alonso

Internet shared their mixed opinions on Taylor Swift's possible swipe at the motorsport star.

“A fling with Matt Healy from April till June and then getting together with Travis in July or August, when did she get the time to be date Alfonso?” an online user wrote.

"Wait..... did they actually date then?" one asked.

The second said, “Taylonso will never die.”

“She’s miffed because Fernando got down to the goods, saw it looked like a burst bus seat and gave her a swerve,” another wrote.

Another suggested, the singer has moved on, “Taylor Swift waving her feet in the air because she just don’t care.”
