White House describes the circulation of Taylor Swift's explicit AI-generated photos as 'alarming'
On Wednesday, January 24, deepfakes of Swift went viral on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the necessity for regulations to prevent the potentially harmful use of AI technology. The White House Press Secretary stated that they are "alarmed" by the incident and that Congress "should take legislative action" on Friday.
"We are alarmed by the reports of the…circulation of images that you just laid out - of false images to be more exact, and it is alarming," noted White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, as per ABC News.

Following the widespread circulation of fake photos of the pop star, Swifties took to social media platforms to denounce the conduct and call for action from X (formerly Twitter).
Moreover, SAG-AFTRA came forward to say, "The sexually explicit, A.I.-generated images depicting Taylor Swift are upsetting, harmful, and deeply concerning. The development and dissemination of fake images — especially those of a lewd nature — without someone’s consent must be made illegal."

Swift and Travis Kelce claim to be ignoring "outside noise" while they work through their romance in the spotlight.
When a reporter explicitly questioned Travis if he had discussed the subject of the attention that their romance is getting with Swift, the Chiefs tight end replied that he had "talked about" maintaining privacy with the 'Karma' singer.
