Recently, a source close to the two divas shared with Life & Style that following Lively’s recent debacle surrounding 'It Ends With Us', Swift has become a rock-solid figure in her friend’s life.

Blake Lively is thankful for Taylor Swift’s support

The source close to the two BFFs, declared to the outlet, “It’s nice to have a friend” like Taylor Swift.

After the ‘Gossip Girl’ alum received harsh criticism from her fans for her “tone deaf” promotion for the film based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, the wife of Ryan Reynolds reportedly turned to her friend Swift for advice.

And, Swift did not disappoint!

“Even though Taylor’s busy with her tour, she’s been solid as a rock for Blake,” explained the source referencing the pop star who was performing in Europe when the ‘It Ends With Us’ drama unfolded.

Still, the ‘Karma’ singer made it a point to stick by her friend’s side.

“She’s calling and texting all the time to cheer her up and remind her not to let all the negativity get her down, that it’s par for the course when you make a big impact,” shared the insider.

Swift - who herself had experienced her fair share of predicament due to online trolling - has tried to toughen up Lively for the online onslaught of hatred.

Not only was Lively criticized for her “tone deaf” promotion but also for her attitudes in past interviews.

After an old interview with Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa resurfaced, the ‘Sisterhood of Traveling Pants’ alum was labeled a “mean girl” for her attitude.

The entire controversy was aggravated when speculations floated regarding her on-set feud with ‘It Ends With Us’ director and costar Justin Baldoni regarding creative differences.

However, Swift has helped Lively to navigate the murky waters.

Another source revealed per OK! Magazine, “Blake knows that anonymous online haters are going to continue to gossip and spread lies. But she’s not going to let them bring her down.”

“[Taylor]’s reminding Blake daily of all the people that love her and know the real her and telling her that’s what matters more than a bunch of strangers on the internet,” continued the source.

The insider dished, “It goes without saying that Blake really appreciates all the advice and support, it means the world to her and just proves that Taylor is the kind of friend that’s there through thick and thin.”

Swift, who has been publicly linked with Lively since 2015, also opened her Rhode Island beach house to throw a star-studded birthday party for her friend.

Thus the insider noted, “Having Taylor in her corner is so helpful because she’s actually been through her fair share of stressful situations in the public eye, so she knows firsthand what she’s talking about when she gives advice.”

“She also knows how awful it feels when it’s happening so she’s not trying to minimize Blake’s feelings, but at the same time she does remind her that the haters are always going to be there, and the more successful she is, the louder they will get,” explained the source.

“Having Taylor’s support has been invaluable because she just knows all the right things to say,” spilled the source before concluding, “The silver lining of this is that it’s brought these two even closer.”

Blake Lively is not only getting support from Taylor Swift but also from her husband Ryan Reynolds to navigate the controversy.

Another source recently told Life & Style, “Ryan is willing to offer millions to Blake’s director and costar, Justin Baldoni, in an attempt to buy out his stake in the franchise so Blake can continue her role without having to work with Baldoni, with whom she clashed."

They added, “This is the biggest film Blake has ever made. Ryan wants to make sure she isn’t replaced in the sequel!”
