Taylor Swift's ex Matty Healy working on covert album as sources confirm 'no NDA signed' during fling
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: According to reports, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy did not sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) during his brief romance with Taylor Swift, thus he is now free to write songs about their romance.
Taylor and Matty had a brief romance following her split with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn in 2023; however, several of the songs on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department seem to refer to Matty.
The latest update arrived after a reporter asked Matty about Taylor's "diss track," he graciously replied: "I haven't really listened to that much of it but I'm sure it's good."

Matty Healy reportedly penning secret album about Taylor Swift
Matty, 35, was reportedly the centerpiece of 34-year-old Taylor's heartache album The Tortured Poets Department which was released last week to overwhelming feedback.
According to insiders, The 1975's sixth album is being worked on covertly by Matty Healy, who has been focused on several tracks from Taylor's recently released record-breaking 11th studio album.
Insiders now claimed that Matty has a lot to consider regarding the record, including whether or not he wants to share his personal perspective on their tumultuous romance.
"Matty is currently keeping a low profile working on The 1975’s next album. This time last week he had no idea he was about to become one of the most talked about men on the planet," an insider told The Sun.
Moreover, Matty might be prepared to share candid details of himself with the American celebrity, Taylor, as he didn't sign a non-disclosure agreement during their brief relationship in 2023.
Matty could have a lot to say considering that Taylor called him the "smallest man who ever lived" in the album's title track.
'The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived' and 'Fortnight' (with Post Malone) seem to allude to The 1975 star and Taylor's despair upon the end of things, per Daily Mail.
To make matters worse, people close to Matty informed The Sun that he was unaware that he would be mentioned in the album and only learned of it last Friday, April 19, when his name began to trend on social media.
The source continued: "He has opted to keep silent, but no NDA has been signed. Like Taylor, he uses his music as a form of release and storytelling, it’s naturally caused him to think about their time together and he’s never been one to hold back when speaking his mind."
"Also like Taylor, he’s moved on and is very happy with his current relationship with Gabbriette Bechtel but there is nothing stopping him from writing about his romance with Taylor and having his say on what she said about him," the insider added.
Fans should wait eagerly for the release of the band's upcoming record, the insider continued.
Matty Healy previously wrote songs about past romances
Since Matty has experience writing about his romantic relationships, The 1975 fans would not shocked if he decided to write about Taylor.
He has written previously about his relationship with American celebrity Halsey after she attacked Matty on her 2016 single 'Colors'.
The lyrics, "Your little brother never tells you but he loves you so / You said your mother only smiled on her TV show," led many to speculate that they were referring to Matty, per Us Weekly. (Healy's mother, Denise Welch, hosts the talk show 'Loose Women'.)
Matty, who was 26 years old when the song was released, has never hidden his struggle with heroin addiction. The lyrics "You’re only happy when your sorry head is filled with dope / I hope you make it to the day you’re 28 years old" by Halsey seemed to allude to his battle.
The band The 1975's 2016 song 'She's American' has also raised fan theories that it is a song about Halsey.
Their album 'I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It' features the hit song 'The Sound,' which Halsey performed on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge in 2016.
