Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds 'iced out' by friends after alleged threat to leak Taylor Swift’s texts

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, once mainstays in Taylor Swift’s famously close-knit friend circle, are allegedly being shut out following a swirl of drama involving threats, lawsuits, and a now-infamous 'Game of Thrones' reference.
The tension reportedly stems from legal documents filed by actor-director Justin Baldoni, who claimed Lively leveraged her friendship with Swift as an intimidation tactic during their dispute over the film 'It Ends With Us', reports Perez Hilton. Moreover, Lively's team apparently threatened to leak Swift's private texts if she didn't issue a public statement in support of the actress.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been 'iced out of the friend group'

A DeuxMoi source confirmed that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been “iced out of the friend group,” and warned that if rumors of threats involving Taylor Swift are true, there’s “no chance that this friendship could be revived.”
According to an insider who spoke to DeuxMoi on the latest 'Deux U' podcast, Swift was deeply embarrassed and felt blindsided when Baldoni included a text from Lively in his lawsuit that appeared to reference her.
It reportedly read, "If you ever get around to watching 'Game of Thrones', you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”
“I need space,” Swift reportedly told Lively after learning about the message at the same time the public did, according to the source.
A tipster told DeuxMoi, “If that is true, that’s it. Taylor is done.”
While it was initially rumored that the pair had patched things up, new signs suggest otherwise. Sources now claim any appearance of reconciliation may have been a strategic PR move, not a genuine return to friendship.
And Swift isn't the only one backing away. Her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, recently unfollowed Reynolds on Instagram. Even more telling, Gigi Hadid didn’t invite Lively to her high-profile 30th birthday bash in New York City despite the two previously being close and Lively living nearby.
Justin Baldoni's team drops Taylor Swift subpoena in Blake Lively legal dispute

Taylor Swift is officially off the hook in the escalating legal feud between 'It Ends With Us' director Justin Baldoni and actress Blake Lively. Baldoni's team has withdrawn its attempt to subpoena the pop icon, stepping back from his initial push to involve her in a contentious lawsuit that has already sent ripples through Hollywood.
The subpoena sought testimony and documents from Swift regarding her alleged knowledge of behind-the-scenes decisions on the film.
Baldoni had accused Lively of using her close relationship with Swift, along with her husband Reynolds, to pressure changes to the movie’s script, citing a now-notorious dinner where the singer was also present.
However, on Thursday, May 22, Baldoni’s team, led by attorney Bryan Freedman, issued a quiet reversal. Without offering specifics, they confirmed that they had “voluntarily received” the information they were seeking and would no longer pursue Swift’s involvement.

In response, Lively’s representatives called the withdrawal a win. “We are pleased that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm,” a spokesperson told Deadline.
“We supported the efforts of Taylor’s team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process," they added.
The rep further stressed that Swift had no involvement in the film’s creative process and slammed what they called an “inappropriate” effort to drag her into the courtroom. “Exploiting Taylor Swift’s celebrity was the original plan,” they said, referencing a leaked PR strategy document. “It continues to this day.”
Neither Swift nor her legal team has issued a statement following the withdrawal, keeping in line with the singer’s consistent silence on the matter.
