'The GOAT': Internet wants NFL comeback as Tom Brady runs 40 yards faster than he did as a 22-year-old
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady surprised fans by beating his own record for the 40-yard dash, set when he was 22, at the age of 46. A video of Brady running went viral on platform X, prompting many to hope for his return to the sport.
In his personal life, Brady has been navigating co-parenting with his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen. A source revealed that while Brady initially struggled after their divorce, he's now doing well.
The source also shed light on the couple's marriage, which ended after thirteen years in October 2022, describing it as amicable but acknowledging that their relationship had soured towards the end.
Additionally, Brady showed support for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce after Kelce's sideline altercation with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid at the Super Bowl. Brady empathized with Kelce, recalling similar emotions he experienced before retiring from the sport.
Tom Brady smashes his 24 year old 40-yard dash record
Fox News reported that Tom Brady shared a video on X where he was seen running the 40-yard dash. Back in 2000, at the NFL combine, he completed this run in 5.28 seconds when he was just 22 years old.
In the video, Brady expressed his intention to try the 40-yard dash again, stating, "Twenty-four years ago, I ran a 5.28 40-yard dash. I'm working out today. I know we have to shoot some photos and videos. If we have some extra time, maybe, just maybe, we give the 40 one more shot."
