'Addicted to attention': Whitney Port accuses Jennifer Lopez of staging paparazzi moment in Hamptons

THE HAMPTONS, NEW YORK: Whitney Port and her husband, Tim Rosenman, have made headlines with their recent comments about Jennifer Lopez, accusing the singer of orchestrating a paparazzi moment in The Hamptons, as reported by Page Six.

On a recent episode of the 'With Whit' podcast, 'The Hills' alum claimed that JLo staged a photo opportunity while visiting Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton.

Whitney Port, 39, described the scene, saying, "Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton is so special that I’m pretty sure JLo the other day was riding her bike to get a scoop of ice cream for a paparazzi shot." 

Her husband, Rosenman, 42, stated that the singer did not actually enter the establishment and was simply present for the exterior shots. 

He characterized Lopez’s actions as "weird" and suggested that she might be "addicted to attention." Port echoed his sentiment, noting, "That’s her vibe. She’s popped everywhere. Her continually looking hot in cute settings is what keeps the machine going."

The couple questioned why JLo, who is already a major celebrity, would feel the need to maintain such a high profile. "She’s already as famous as you can be; why does she need to stoke the fans of her own flame?" wondered Rosenman.

He further speculated that the singer might enjoy "extra f**king attention." 

The TV producer and Port both concurred if they had JLo’s money "they would just be done."

The couple's remarks come amid Lopez’s recent activities in the Hamptons, where she celebrated the Fourth of July and her 55th birthday without her husband, Ben Affleck. Speculation about their relationship has been swirling since May, with reports suggesting the couple might have been separated since March.

Another person remarked, "Say what you will about JLo's many flaws and foibles, she's still 1000x more accomplished and successful than Whitney Port. I'm not even sure what Whitney does- trophy wife clotheshanger?"
