NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Drake has captured the admiration of social media users by generously gifting a fan $100,000 during his recent concert to celebrate her victory over cancer, affectionately dubbing her a 'soldier.'

This heartwarming gesture has led to an outpouring of praise for him across various platforms.

However, the 'Passion Fruit' singer found himself in a different spotlight a few days ago when an alleged nude video surfaced online, depicting him engaging in inappropriate behavior.

This incident sparked ridicule from social media users, although Drake remained silent on the matter. When asked about it by Kick streamer Adin Ross, Drake responded with eight laughing emojis.

Adding to the buzz, Drake recently reignited his feud with the Recording Academy by dismissing the Grammy Awards as meaningless just hours before the 2024 ceremony began, causing a stir within the music industry.

During his performance in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of his collaborative tour with J Cole, titled 'It’s All a Blur — Big as the What?', Drake encountered a touching moment.

According to Complex, while onstage, the 'God's Plan' rapper noticed a fan holding a sign that read, “Just Finished Chemo.”

Responding to the heartwarming gesture, Drake requested the fan's sign to be displayed on the big screen, eliciting massive cheers from the Nashville crowd.

Expressing his admiration, Drake declared, “Listen, forget Drake, forget anybody else in this building right now. That’s a true soldier right there," igniting the crowd's enthusiasm.

He then made an unprecedented gesture, announcing, “I hope my manager doesn’t kill me 'cause I’ve never really done this much, but, listen, I want you to cash this in at the end of the night. We’re gonna give you $100,000. I love you and I wish you the best.”

As reported by the Tennessean, the fan identified as Lauren Schwallie had been battling breast cancer since March 2022.

Sharing her excitement, she recounted “One thing led to another and I was at the front of the stage and Drake blew me a kiss and told me that he loved me! That’s all I was focused on and then just like the money on top of it is just insane."

She expressed her astonishment at the unexpected monetary gift, which she shared on her Instagram.
