NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joy Behar didn't hold back as she lashed out at Donald Trump during a heated discussion on 'The View'—delivering one of her most biting remarks yet, as reported by The Mirror US.

The fiery exchange came as the panel discussed the former president's comments about Liz Cheney and Kamala Harris, with Behar making a sharp comparison between the former president and her Spanx.

Joy Behar says her Spanx is smarter than Donald Trump

During the Friday, September 4 episode of 'The View', the panel—comprised of Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin—dived into the day's "Hot Topics," kicking off the segment with a discussion about Liz Cheney and her decision to vote for a Democrat for the first time in her life.

A clip of Cheney vowing to vote for Vice President Harris in the upcoming presidential election was aired for the audience. The former Republican Rep's announcement marked a significant shift from her previous positions, sparking immediate reactions from both sides of the political spectrum.

The conversation on 'The View' quickly when a video of Trump's appearance on Fox News aired.

In the clip, the former president was seen launching an attack on Cheney, labeling her a "stupid war hawk." He went on to group her with Harris, saying, "They're both so bad they hurt each other."

Trump’s harsh remarks about two of his most vocal critics seemed to get under the skin of 'The View' panelists, and it wasn’t long before Behar fired back in her signature style.

Clearly frustrated by his usual rhetoric, Behar remarked, "Trump thinks everyone is stupid but him," adding a memorable jab, "This is the man who stared into an eclipse," referring to a viral moment of the then-president seemingly gazing at the sun without protective gear during a total solar eclipse in 2017.

But Behar didn’t stop there—she delivered a scathing insult that left both the audience and her co-hosts in stitches. "I’m wearing Spanx that are smarter than him," quipped Behar, her biting wit drawing laughter from the audience.

Alyssa Farah Griffin shares admiration for Liz Cheney’s decision to stand up against Donald Trump

As the conversation unfolded, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who worked as an aide in Donald Trump’s White House, offered her thoughts on the former president and Liz Cheney’s shift.

Griffin has publicly distanced herself from Trump in recent years, and she used this opportunity to highlight her admiration for Cheney’s decision to stand up against Trump’s influence.

The political strategist recalled a private meeting with Cheney where she explained why she had spoken out against Trump. She shared, "I wanted to be able to tell my future kids that when the moment called for it, I spoke out on behalf of my country."

Griffin also shared that she would be traveling with Cheney and fellow former Trump administration officials Sarah Matthews and Cassidy Hutchinson to Montgomery, Pennsylvania to speak about the dangers they believe the former president poses to American democracy.

The October 9 event, which is set to be hosted by the group Democracy First, is not an official event for the Harris-Walz campaign. While Cheney, Hutchinson, and Matthews have endorsed Harris, Griffin has not, but she frequently uses platforms like 'The View' to warn against a possible second Trump presidency.
