Alyssa Farah Griffin slams GOP's 'DEI hire' label for Kamala Harris
After Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris, the GOP quickly revamped its attacks against the Vice President. Some GOP members took digs at her over race and gender while arguing that she is unqualified.
'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin criticized GOP figures who dismissed Kamala Harris as a “DEI hire” and undermined her credentials.
“I don’t really know why, because they have known that she was running since 2020,” she said. “She’s been on the ticket, they even used this line of ‘A vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris,’ but they don’t know what play to run.”
Griffin said the GOP is opting to run all of their “worst plays that they can".
She particularly praised Harris’ swift and effective campaign launch, highlighting her impressive digital operation and adept use of platforms like TikTok to enhance her public image.
“I am blown away by her digital operation. She’s had 24 hours to stand this up; she’s all over TikTok, she has turned things that seem cringey into making her seem cool.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin compares Kamala Harris' energy to that of Barack Obama's
Alyssa Farah Griffin compared Kamala Harris’ momentum to the high-energy campaigns seen during Barack Obama's tenure, suggesting that Harris’ approach is catching her opponents off guard.
She continued, “Like, this feels Obama-level energy, and Trump world’s not ready for it.”

Internet reacts to Kamala Harris' nomination for 2024 race
Public reaction to Vice President Kamala Harris' nomination has been mixed, reflecting deep divisions in political opinions.
One user wrote, "That’s crazy how she’s secured the nomination without people choosing her as the nominee. It’s like the Democrats took 81 million voters votes away from Joe Biden in a blink of an eye. That’s democracy for you by the Democrats removing your choice. Very interesting times."
