'The View' host Sunny Hostin predicts Kamala Harris will 'wipe the floor' with Donald Trump in a debate
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' co-hosts discussed what a potential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris would look like during the Wednesday, July 31 episode.
This came after the vice president challenged the GOP presidential nominee to meet her on a debate stage at her star-studded campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia. She insisted, "If you got something to say, say it to my face."

Sunny Hostin predicts Kamala Harris will outshine Donald Trump in a debate
Sunny Hostin expressed, "I loved Harris' rally in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday." She argued that Kamala Harris had "flipped the script" and would "wipe the floor" with Donald Trump if they were to face off in a televised debate.
Hostin elaborated, "He has indicated that he may or may not debate her, but if he does, it has to be on Fox News. I think he's shooketh, I think he's scared. I think she will wipe the floor with him. I think she will be a savage debater. I think she is well trained, she's prepared, she's presidential, and I think he's scared."
Joy Behar agreed with her co-host's assessment, noting, "Well, I would go along with that. He keeps backtracking on a lot of things, things are starting to look bad for him. Let's remember that Joe Biden debated Trump basically because his numbers were soft. That's the real reason."

The 81-year-old comedian then took a jab at the former president, saying, "And Trump thinks that he doesn't have to do it but his numbers are softer than his mid-section at this point!"
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg complimented Behar's restraint, saying, "I think you handled yourself very well, because I know where you could have gone but you didn't go!"
The 81-year-old responded by referencing a previous comment, "I already did the Stormy material last week!"—a nod to her earlier, more risque remarks about Trump's alleged affair with Stormy Daniels.
Subsequently, Behar noted that the vice president was leading Trump by 11 points in Michigan and declared, "He's gonna have to do it." Sara Haines then weighed in, suggesting, "I don't think he can resist the idea that a woman would show up and beat him."
She speculated that Trump might be blaming his campaign for not preparing him adequately, adding, "He's probably saying, 'What are you guys doing wrong that you're missing the boat?' That would be the time where he's held to account by her, and this isn't just a woman, it's a Black and Brown woman, and I think that will kill him. So he will absolutely not be able to say no because he'll look weak."
Behar wasn’t done with her jabs, as she humorously remarked, "I'd like to speak to Donald... 'I'd like to give you some words of encouragement. I think you'll do very well because you're used to standing next to a prosecutor. Don't worry about it, it's something you know how to do.'" This comment was met with laughter and applause from the audience.
During the episode, 'The View' panelists made their support for Harris clear, with Goldberg urging viewers to take action. She said, "This is up to us, if we want to win this, we have to get out and work our behinds."
