Tim Walz's meeting with Alex Soros sparks MAGA fury, Internet says 'he is a servant for elite'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz met with Alex Soros, billionaire financier George Soros' son, at his fancy New York City apartment this week. However, what caught MAGA followers' attention was the Minnesota governor's body language.
Former GOP presidential candidate and Donald Trump ally Vivek Ramaswamy criticised Walz for meeting with Alex and implied that Soros controls Democrtic leaders.
Reposting the photos posted by the billionaire's son on X (formerly Twitter), Rawamswamy wrote, "If you squint, you can see the strings on the marionette."
Walz stood at a noticeable distance from Alex with a single chair between them. The Democratic running mate clasped both his palms together while talking to Alex.

Tim Walz meets with Alex Soros, a major Democratic donor
"Honored to host Governor @Tim_Walz at my home in New York City!" Alex Soros captioned his X post.
The high-profile meeting took place on the sidelines of a world leaders' gathering in the Big Apple for the United Nations General Assembly.
Alex attended last month's Democratic National Convention in Chicago, along with his fiancee Huma Abedin, and the couple was spotted with Walz.
The 38-year-old Soros has been involved in politics since succeeding his billionaire kingmaker father, George, contributing millions to political committees that support Democrats and promote various progressive initiatives.
Moreover, his social media handles are filled with multiple pictures of him with leading Democrats from the Senate and House. Two prominent Democrats who are frequently seen since 2018 on his social media posts are Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to Fox News.
Alex was among the first mega-donors to offer immediate endorsement to Vice President Harris after President Joe Biden's exit. In an Instagram post from July, the billionaire wrote, "It's time for us all to unite around Kamala Harris and beat Donald Trump. She is the best and most qualified candidate we have. Long live the American Dream! US."

He was a major contributor to Biden's 2020 Victory Fund, donating more than $720,000.
Since the 2018 term election, the younger Soros has poured in over $5 million as election donations, and the largest was $2 million for Senate Majority PAC supporting Sen Schumer. Nevertheless, his donations are less than what his father has made to the Democratic Party.
The amount Alex contributed to the Harris-Walz campaign is yet to be revealed.

"Watching Tim Walz bow and curtsey to Alex Soros makes me want to throw up. America, do we want four more years of Soros rule? Please NO," another added.

"Notice the picture bottom right. One standing straight in front of the column, shoulders back, hands in pockets, big smile, commanding presence. The other looking small in the city background, one leg ready to go, shoulders forward, no smile, weird hands position, weak presence. Meeting the boss didn’t go well?" a user wrote.
"He sure is a dunce," read one response.
"He really is a servant for the elite," an individual wrote.

"I'm terms of body language in the first picture notice walz is standing quite deferentially. Hands clasped. Shoulders forward hunched. Kind of getting down to his level," another user remarked.
"This is what the subservient body language of a subject standing in front of his master looks like," someone else chimed in.
